Upcoming MCU movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to conclude the Ant-Man trilogy and introduce the famous Marvel villain Kang the Conqueror in Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Jonathan Majors, who debuted in MCU as He Who Remains in Disney+ series Loki will now return as Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The third installment of the Ant-Man saga will see the return of Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly’s Hope van Dyne, who are also known as the dynamic duo Ant-Man and the Wasp.

The movie recently wrapped production, as director Peyton Reed confirmed on his Twitter account, and now we got the image of official t-shirt of the stunt team, and that t-shirt is showing Ant-Man’s shattered mask and Kang’s reflection on it. Phew, that’s intriguing.

Kang the Conqueror, the notorious time-traveling villain was announced as the movie’s main villain before Majors showed up in Loki Season 1 finale. His character in the Loki series, Nathaniel Richards, also known as He Who Remains, was killed by Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie, which freed all of his time variants, and we presume one of them is Kang.

Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are returning as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer will also reprise their roles of Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne. Kathryn Newton joined the cast as Cassie Lang. Cassie was previously played by Abby Ryder Fortson in Ant-Man movies and Emma Fuhrmann in Avengers: Endgame. It is expected that Cassie could become a hero known as Stature, who is a member of Young Avengers in the comics.

Plot of the movie is kept under wraps, but everything we know so far sounds really exciting. If nothing, it’s for sure we’re going to hear the word quantum in every other scene.

Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be released on July 28, 2023.
