Gta V: Here’s How To Buy a Garage (Story Mode & Online)

Share:

Grand Theft Auto is one of the most popular gaming franchises in the world, despite their most recent “new” game being released ten years ago. Grand Theft Auto V is still insanely popular amongst players because Rockstar Games is still updating the game regularly, specifically GTA Online. On the other hand, the single-player game is still being played, especially with the news of GTA VI being in development and the expectation and excitement of new GTA projects, which made some players return to GTA V single-player. This article will discuss one of the technicalities of GTA in-game purchases, specifically, how to buy a garage in GTA V, including Story Mode and Online versions.

  • Article Breakdown:
  • The progression of the main characters is instrumental in purchasing properties in GTA V single-player, and the same goes for garages.
  • Michael, Franklin, and Trevor have their own garages for purchase, with which you need to locate the garage icon on the map and buy the garage from there.
  • In GTA Online, a player can buy a garage from an in-game website Dynasty8executiverealitiy.com, find the garage you want, and click “buy.”
  • Or you can simply go to the location of the garage and purchase the property near the “For Sale” sign.

Available garages in both versions of GTA V

One of Grand Theft Auto games’ most prominent aspects is owning properties across the cities. For players, garages were most useable because they could store their vehicles.

Let’s start with the Story Mode version. We already mentioned that each character, Michael, Franklin, and Trevor, has their own garage for purchase. However, the property is not available at the beginning of the game, and one needs to complete a certain mission to unlock the garage-purchasing feature.

  • When you play with Michael, you must complete a mission called “Father/Son,” which will trigger the garage’s appearance in West Vinewood.
  • The character of Franklin also needs to complete the same mission, which will trigger the appearance of his garage located on Groove Street.
  • Trevor must complete the same mission as the other two, but his garage is located in Pillbox Hill.

Of course, it’s quite easy to locate the garage icon on the Los Santos map, and the distinction between each garage is marked with different colors – Franklin is green, Michael is blue, and Trevor is orange color.

GTA Online has many more available garages than the base game. Since the online version of the game has somewhat different gameplay and more features, we will list all available GTA Online garages that are separated by tiers.

These are all available garages in both versions of the Grand Theft Auto game. Now let’s find out how to buy these properties.

How do you purchase garages in GTA Online and GTA V story mode?

Over the years, Grand Theft Auto franchises developed the purchase of properties option multiple times. From the start of the 3D era, specifically GTA III, garages had multiple purposes – for example, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas implemented the option of players storing their damaged cars and repairing them free of charge.

In Grand Theft Auto V story mode, the game brought back the garages and, with already existing safehouse garages, added separate ones available in multiple areas of Los Santos. This feature was great for the players who wanted to store more of their luxurious cars and other cool vehicles.

In GTA V Story Mode, one cannot buy garages online but go to the locations of the property of one designated character and get in front of the billboard with “For Sale.” You will get a notification to purchase the garage for a certain amount.

In GTA Online, one can purchase a garage in two ways. The first way is the same as in Story Mode – one needs to go to the location of the garage and purchase the property in front of the billboard. The second way is only available in GTA Online, where one needs to go to a special website in-game to purchase properties, including garages.

Dynasty 8 website is a designated place for purchasing garages in GTA Online

Dynasty 8 website lets you purchase cars, vehicles, and properties. One must input “www.dynasty8executiverealty.com” in the browser on your character’s phone, and you can purchase various properties, including garages. You can buy vehicles and store them in your newly acquired property when you purchase garages. Grand Theft Auto franchise always emphasizes their characters having their own properties, which can also be included in the GTA V gameplay – both Story Mode and GTA Online.
