This is the story set in two different times and places. Russell is a sophisticated antique shop owner who gets arrested after a fight in the parking lot of Madison Square Garden. We are soon shifted to the 16th century where he recalls his life as Connor MacLeod, an immortal Scottish swordsman who has to fight his last immortal opponent. His past self will influence his present self and vice versa in this intriguing adrenaline-packed movie.

2. Highlander II: The Quickening (1991)

It is 1999 and Connor MacLeod and Professor Allan Neyman develop a shield to protect Earth from radiation. But 25 years later Earth is dying due to the effects of the shield and a terrorist group commanded by Louise Marcos is determined to destroy it. What is very important for the actions in 2024 is the fact that 500 years ago MacLeod and his friend Ramirez are aliens from the planet Zeist who are on the run from the tyrant Katan who wants MacLeod dead.

3. Highlander III: The Sorcerer (1994)

This is the prequel to the second part, set in 1994. When losing his wife Heather a few centuries ago in the Scottish highlands, Connor MacLeod decides to leave Scotland and travel and wander around the world. He finds himself in Japan where he meets and befriends the famous sorcerer Nakano who is soon killed by Kane, one of his old enemies. But Nakano’s death will leave Kane trapped inside a mountain cave for many years and now, centuries later, he will turn to MacLeod.

4. Highlander: Endgame (2000)

After seeing his old friend Rachel die in an explosion, Connor MacLeod decides to retire from his immortal life and all the pain it brings him. He locks himself inside the Sanctuary, a retreat where immortals can rest from the outside world but when his old enemy Jacob Kell enters and kills everyone at the Sanctuary, MacLeod is forced to get out and fight his once very good friend.

5. Highlander: The Search for Vengeance (2007)

This is an anime sequel to the Highlander story, about a lone warrior named Colin who travels with the ghost Amergan through the ages in search of the immortal Marcus Octavius who killed his lovers many centuries ago. In his search, he discovers that New York is submerged and that he is the one who can save the survivors.

6. Highlander: The Source (2007)

Highlander Duncan MacLeod remembers his past and better days while the world is falling into chaos. Alone and without any hope, he stumbles upon a group of immortals, including his friend Methos and a mortal named Joe Dawson, a Watcher. He embarks on a journey and a quest to find the origin of the first Immortal and the Source of their immortality.
