Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer manga was published between February 15, 2016 and May 18, 2020, ending its run with 205 chapters that were collected into a total of 23 volumes. The manga became a global phenomenon and the ongoing anime has quickly become one of the most popular in the history of the genre. It has been adapted into an ongoing anime series in April 6, 2019, and as of now, there are two seasons and one feature-length anime movie, with an announced third season that is set to premiere in 2023. How many Demon Slayer light novels are there?

A light novel by Aya Yajima was published by Shūeisha as a single volume on February 4, 2019, titled Demon Slayer: The Flower of Happiness. It chronicles the lives of Tanjirō and Zenitsu before the start of the main series, as well as insight into the lives of Aoi Kanzaki and Kanao. It also features a unique alternate-universe chapter where the show’s characters attend a regular high school. A second novel, titled Demon Slayer: One-Winged Butterfly, was released on October 4, 2019.
