Here’s How to Make Grindstone in Minecraft
Grindstone is one of the most important blocks in Minecraft if a lot of gear comes your way. If you’re in quick need to repair some of your armor or disenchant some of your items, chances are, the Grindstone is the best way to do it. And although Grindstone is a block that you can come across relatively easily while you’re exploring the world, it’s always useful to know how to craft it. Due to that, let’s see how to create Grindstone in Minecraft.
What do you need Grindstone for in Minecraft?
Grindstone is not exactly a necessary block when you’re first starting the game, and this is why most players put off creating one until the opportunity presents itself.
In most cases, Grindstone blocks will be used to repair gear, such as fishing rods, for example, or to disenchant items.
If you’re expanding your village or want to give a new profession to a certain village, you will have to create a Grindstone to serve as its job site block.
Crafting a Grindstone: step by step guide
- To create a Grindstone in Minecraft, you’re going to need the following: a crafting table, two wooden planks of any kind, one stone slab, and two sticks.
- Once you have the materials, they should be arranged at the crafting table in the pattern as shown in the image below.
- Up to 4 wooden planks are created by placing a single tree block on the crafting table. Stone Slabs are created by combining 3x pieces of stone, and wooden sticks are easily crafted out of 2x wooden planks of any kind or 2x bamboo.
What do you do if you can’t craft Grindstone?
If you don’t have all the materials to craft your own grindstone, you can always make your way to a nearby village, and if that village has a local weaponsmith following him back home or to his working station, you will come across a Grindstone you can collect just like most blocks in the game.
Always make sure to break the Grindstone block with a pickaxe; otherwise, it will drop nothing.
