Little Alchemy 2
Little Alchemy 2 is the sequel to the original Little Alchemy released in late 2017, providing an incredibly unique experience for anyone with a curious mind or creative streak. This drag-and-drop style game enables players to create so many things using a variety of materials and resources, referred to as elements in the game.
The original game was designed by Jakub Koziol and developed by Recloak Games back in 2010, enabling anyone to create the world as we know it using the most vital building blocks that can be found in the universe – the natural elements.
When it comes to Little Alchemy 2, it’s all about experimenting with different components and elements using ingenuity and creative thinking skills – or known recipes and combinations. The 4 natural elements make up the base of all creatable items and characters in the game, but players will end up gaining access to more and more elements through discovery.
“The game is based on an extremely old tradition of Alchemy. In the game, you start with 4 elements, Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. The first game had around 100 elements to create, but since it has received multiple updates, it resulted in 589 elements so far.”
The list of craftables just keeps on growing – there are now around 700 elements that players can create in the game excluding elements included in content packs. Players will simply need to combine base elements in specific ways as they discover new elements, and then continue transmuting new elements until they reach the intended product.
This game is now an incredibly popular option for all ages, as it’s useful for teaching purposes and much more. It’s an amazing way to encourage deep thinking and appreciation for even the most standard objects around the world. But, it’s pretty entertaining to just mess around with a seemingly endless list of combinations!

- Sky and Light
- Fire and Sky
- Day and Space
- Sky and Day
- Fire and Planet
- Light and Planet
- Light and Day
But, some of these combinations are far more complex than others, requiring extra or longer steps to finally come up with the Sun as the end product. Some of the available combinations involve elements that need various combinations to get on their own, and players could end up going through way more steps than necessary.
Players can actually create the Sun in Little Alchemy 2 with only a handful of steps by using the Fire and Planet combination since players will start off with Fire as a base element from the very beginning. This at least knocks out one of the combination’s element requirements, and you’ll only need to focus on creating a Planet in order to form a Sun from this point.
Surprisingly, players will not need to have discovered tons of complex elements before they can make a Sun – all you’ll really need is Fire and Earth, which you’ll start off with at the beginning of the game. Creating a Planet will involve some steps being repeated since the early stages of the Planet combinations will require two of the same item in some cases.
Follow the steps below in order to create a Planet in Little Alchemy 2, which you will later use to create a Sun:
Step | Combination | Outcome |
1 | Earth and Earth | Land |
2 | Earth and Earth | Land |
3 | Land and Land | Continent |
4 | Land and Land | Continent |
5 | Continent and Continent | Planet |
From this point, all players will need to do is combine the Fire and the Planet that they have just created on the playing board. Combining these two items will create the Sun element in Little Alchemy 2.
- Drag the “Planet“ that you’ve just created from the Elements Panel and drop it onto the playing board.
- Select the basic “Fire” element from the Elements Panel.
- Drag “Fire” and drop it onto the “Planet“ on the playing board.
- Combining Fire with the Planet you created will result in the Sun.
That’s the easiest and fastest way that you can create Sun in Little Alchemy 2, which will then allow you to make a wide range of other awesome items in the game. Although the process can seem complex at first, players will only need to do a couple of drags and drops for them to finally transmute the Sun element in the game.
