The fourth episode of ‘Steel Ball Run’ is listed for a Netflix release on October 9, 2026. It belongs to the sixth season of ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’, which adapts the seventh part of Hirohiko Araki’s manga. New episodes arrive every Friday, which settles much of the uncertainty that surrounded the series earlier this year.

This guide covers the ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’ release date, the expected release time, where to watch, and what a preview can realistically say at this stage. The title of the upcoming episode is still listed as to be announced, so some caution is warranted when reading any early forecast.

Release Date and Weekly Schedule for the Fourth Episode

Netflix dropped its original batch release plan after fan backlash and confirmed one new episode every Friday. The third episode is due on October 2, 2026, exactly one week after the second episode, which places the fourth episode on October 9.

The series opened in March 2026 with a single episode, and the reaction from fans was strongly negative. That opener ran 47 minutes. At an Anime Expo panel in July, David Production and Warner Bros. Japan confirmed that the second and third stages would be bundled together and begin streaming on September 25.

The current batch contains eleven episodes covering the second and third stages. One schedule places the last Friday release in early December. David Production has not said when the anime will return once those eleven episodes have aired.

Series producer Noriko Dohi told Anime Corner that the staff could not simply push through the whole story continuously, which is why the cours were split. Director Yasuhiro Kimura has also said production was going smoothly, though no release date had been set at the time.

Release Time and Regional Availability

Netflix gave 1 a.m. PDT, which is 5 p.m. JST, as the start time for the second stage on September 25. The platform has not announced a specific global time for each later episode.

Netflix originals usually go live at midnight Pacific Time, although weekly series can follow a different pattern. A Friday date does not guarantee that every account receives the episode at local midnight. Anyone planning to watch on the first night should treat the hour as approximate.

The JoJo Wiki countdown for the third episode points to 5 p.m. JST on October 2, which suggests the same slot may hold for the following Friday. Viewers are advised to check the series page on Netflix on release day to confirm availability in their region.

Where to Watch on Netflix

The series is available exclusively on Netflix worldwide, so it will not stream on Crunchyroll the way earlier seasons did. Every Netflix member around the world has access to the new episodes.

There is no separate add on or regional restriction to worry about. Netflix also handled the previous season, ‘Stone Ocean’, which arrived on the service in December 2021.

Netflix has promoted an English dubbed trailer for the series. Dub voice actors for newer characters such as Mountain Tim, Hot Pants, and Funny Valentine had not been revealed when that report was published.

Preview and What to Expect From the Fourth Episode

The release table lists the title of the fourth episode as to be announced, and the summary on the JoJo Wiki page is still marked as pending. No official synopsis has surfaced, so a true preview is not possible yet. The same was true ahead of the third episode, when one outlet found no episode specific synopsis.

The story is set in 1890 America, where a horse racing championship across the North American continent is about to begin. The second stage adapts the arc known as Across the Arizona Desert and covers a challenge spanning nearly 750 miles. So far, Gyro Zeppeli has proposed an alliance with Johnny Joestar and offered to teach him the basics of the Spin, while Steven Steel is forced to investigate the murders of several racers.

David Production is behind the anime, with Yasuhiro Kimura and Hideya Takahashi directing, and Shogo Sakata and Yohei Azakami voice Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli. The newer cast includes Tomoaki Maeno as Mountain Tim, Tomokazu Sugita as Funny Valentine, and Yoko Hikasa as Hot Pants.

Screen Rant has noted that the second stage spans chapters 12 through 27, which would take at least three standard length episodes to reach the anticipated debut of Funny Valentine. Dohi has also said the horse races need to feel real, which she described as difficult work. With Mountain Tim tracking a killer and Funny Valentine still waiting in the wings, which storyline do you most want the fourth episode to push forward, the desert race or the investigation behind it?
