Leaker Claims that Scottish Actor Ruaridh Mollica Will Actually Play Tommy in ‘Vision Quest,’ Reveals Additional Plot Details

Slowly but steadily, Vision Quest is becoming hotter and hotter. We’ve recently had some important casting updates and it seems that Marvel is aiming to create another WandaVision with this series.
This is certainly interesting, as WandaVision is still the most lauded MCU series, so if the studio is aiming for a show of that caliber, we’re in for a proper treat.
In light of that, we are also very keen to find out and report about new information, whether they’re official or rumors. In this report, it seems that we have a mix of both and it concerns the role of Tommy Maximoff.
The information we have has been shared by Daniel Richtman via his Patreon account. The popular leaker is generally reliable with his rumors and leaks, but in this case, he is claiming that the information he has is official and that he is confirming it exclusively, so it seems that it has even more graviti than usual. So, what is he saying?
He claims that Marvel has officially cast Scottish actor Ruaridh Mollica in the role of Tommy Maximoff. Mollica is best known for his performance in the indie film Sebastian, released in 2024. Mollica is expected to contribute to Billy’s story as well.
But, aside from this casting information, Richtman also says that the series will use a concept similar to that of Agatha All Along, which revealed that the soul of Billy Maximoff inhabited the body of the late William Kaplan. In this series, Tommy’s soul is allegedly going to inhabit the body of a boy named Tucker, and as the story progresses, it will be confirmed that Tucker is actually Tommy.
As you know, the role of Tucker has already been cast officially, and Richtman is now claiming that the character is actually Tommy.
Production of the series is currently underway and Richtman confirms that it is planned for a 2026 release. Of course, take these news with a grain of salt until they are officially confirmed by Marvel, regardless of how authentic they sound.
