Spider-Man is undoubtedly one of Marvel’s characters with the most enduring on-screen legacy. Although Sony owns the rights, the two studios eventually agreed to collaborate and share profits, allowing Tom Holland’s Spider-Man to star in his own MCU-based film series.

Every Spider-Man needs his MJ, and in the MCU, that role went to Zendaya, one of Hollywood’s most popular young actresses. Zendaya’s MJ isn’t the traditional version; she has a unique backstory, a different name, and is considered a fresh reimagining of the original character.

By a twist of fate, Tom Holland and Zendaya fell in love while filming, and their romance extended beyond the screen. Marisa Tomei, who plays May Parker in the MCU, was recently asked at Fan Expo Canada about her favorite filming moments. She revealed that her top memories were watching Zendaya and Holland fall for each other.
