Marvel Teases Upcoming ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ #7 and #8 with First Images
As far as Marvel goes, everyone knows that Spider-Man is their most popular superhero and arguably the most popular superhero in general. The character has been a pillar of Marvel’s stories since his debut and has given us some of the best storylines in Marvel’s history.
Spider-Man has had numerous iterations throughout his history, most often with different adjectives. Among them, The Amazing Spider-Man series has been one of the most popular ones, which is why the series is being published even today.
Issues #7 and #8 of the current series are both coming out in July 2025 and will feature an epic clash that we cannot wait to see. Now, ahead of the release, Marvel has provided us with the first images.
The current iteration of The Amazing Spider-Man series is brought to us by Joe Kelly, John Romita Jr., and Pepe Larraz, and it promises to deliver some truly epic stories and moments. Character development will also be very important, but so will new characters.
The July issues are going to see Spider-Man tackle a very interesting enemy called Hellgate, who will debut in the story as a proper challenge for the Scarlet Web Slinger. This mini arc will continue for some time as the series is approaching its 975th issue overall.

Teased as the beginning of “Spidey’s most desperate battle”, The Amazing Spider-Man #7 comes out on July 2, 2025 and the official synopsis reveals the following: THE HELLGATE IS OPEN! Spider-Man is fighting for his life – literally – as he tries to keep Hellgate from destroying Manhattan. But what does this strange new foe want? And can Peter figure it out before his day gets a whole lot worse?!
The Amazing Spider-Man #8 comes out on July 23, 2025 and will continue the epic clash started in the previous issue. The synopsis reveals the following: TIME TO DIE, SPIDER-MAN! The fight continues in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #8 as the city watches as Spider-Man takes the worst beating of his life. What can Spider-Man do to rally? There MUST be something!
