‘Medieval Pig’ RPG Shines in New Trailer and Demo

I’ve been waiting for something fresh in the RPG world, and CrownForge Studio just delivered. Their new game, ‘Medieval Pig’, dropped a trailer and demo that’s got me curious. You play as a pig in a sprawling medieval world, which is as wild as it sounds.

This isn’t your typical hero’s journey. You’re a pig who got snatched from home, with no clue why. The world feels strange, almost alien, and your memory’s a blur. The demo, which you can try out here, lets you dive into this mystery, exploring a vibrant open-world built on Unreal Engine 5. The visuals pop, with lush forests and gritty villages that pull you right in.

In the demo, you can tackle about 15 quests, each with a mix of humor and heart. Want to sniff out secrets? There are easter eggs tucked away, rewarding curious players. You’ll also fight off enemies—both human and beast—using a combat system that feels punchy for a pig.

Crafting’s a big deal too. You can whip up food to heal, forge weapons, or craft armor with random modifiers that tweak your abilities in cool ways. Building basics are there as well, letting you shape small parts of the world.

What makes ‘Medieval Pig’ stand out is its charm. The solo developer behind CrownForge Studio clearly poured love into this. Their goal? To spark joy. And it shows in the quirky dialogue and oddball characters you meet. The demo supports English and Russian, but the full game will add more languages for everyone to join the fun.

I tried the demo myself, and the pig gameplay was a blast. Rolling through the mud to dodge attacks or charging foes with a snort—it’s weirdly satisfying.

The trailer nails this vibe too, blending epic music with shots of you exploring, fighting, and uncovering the story. It’s less about grand battles and more about a pig finding its place in a chaotic world.

You can grab the demo now on Steam. If you’re into RPGs with a twist, this one’s worth a look. I’m already rooting for this little pig to make it big when the full game drops.
