Mob Psycho 100 is a manga written and drawn by ONE. An anime adaptation has been produced by the Bones studio and began airing on July 12, 2016, with the premiere of Season 1. A summary OVA was also released, as well as a standalone OVA and a 6-episode ONA titled Mob Psycho Mini. As you can see the Mob Psycho franchise is extensive and due to that we have decided to bring you a full and detailed watch order of the series so you know your way around it.

How many Mob Psycho 100 seasons and episodes are there?
As of the time of writing this article, three seasons of Mob Psycho 100 have been completed, bringing the episode count to 37. Mob Psycho Mini has six episodes, and if you add the 2 OVA episodes to that, there are 45 Mob Psycho 100 episodes so far.
In what order should you watch Mob Psycho 100?
Mob Psycho 100 fans will need to start off with the very first season of Mob Psycho 100 to begin the story, following through in the episode’s numerical progression until the season’s conclusion. The story is told in a chronological way so the release order coincides with the chronological order, which means that you’ll have absolutely no trouble whatsoever following the story if you follow the release order.
Mob Psycho 100 chronological watch order:
1. Mob Psycho 100, Season 1 (anime, 2016)
The first season of Mob Psycho 100 follows the story of Shigeo Kageyama, a shy and socially awkward teenager with powerful psychic abilities. Despite his extraordinary talents, Shigeo, also known as “Mob,” suppresses his emotions to avoid losing control of his powers. He works as an assistant to Reigen Arataka, a self-proclaimed psychic who exploits Mob’s abilities for profit.
2. Mob Psycho Mini (special, 2016)
Mob Psycho Mini is a 6-episode special of mini-episodes that was bundled along with the Blu-ray release of Season 1. It is not considered canon and does not contribute to the overall plot, but it is worth the watch.
3. Reigen -The Miraculous Unknown Psychic- (OVA, 2018)
Inspired by an interview he saw on television, Reigen decides to write a book detailing his achievements to seek fame and fortune. He has Mob write the manuscript while he retells the events of the first season, only inserting himself into moments he was previously not involved in and taking credit for the other’s actions. Mob questions the accuracy of it all, but Reigen argues that he’s exaggerating for dramatic effect. Finally, Mob finishes writing, and his friends from school decide to be the editors before it goes to print.
They read it, painfully reacting to the incredible inaccuracy of the “biographical film.” Later, Reigen receives the first print copy of the book and reads it, only to horribly discover that all of his “achievements” have been removed, with Mob now the focus and himself barely in it. With his crowdfunding campaign only receiving 2,500 yen (which was from Reigen himself), he uses the money to treat Mob to ramen.
4. Mob Psycho 100, Season 2 (anime, 2019)
Season 2 of Mob Psycho 100 premiered on January 7, 2019, and ended on April 1, 2019, after 13 episodes.
The team tackles supernatural challenges, including urban legends turned real and a wealthy man’s possession issue. Mob’s strained relationship with Reigen comes to a head as the latter’s fraudulent activities are exposed on live TV, leading to humiliation. The series concludes with a powerful showdown against Toichiro Suzuki, where Mob’s empathy and kindness prevent a catastrophic explosion, fostering reconciliation and closure for the characters.
5. The Spirits and Such Consultation Office’s First Company Outing ~A Healing Trip that Warms the Heart~ (OVA, 2019)
Reigen takes a job at a hot springs resort that has received poor reviews due to the poor experience of visitors after traveling through “another dimension” along the way. Mob, Ritsu, Dimple, and Serizawa tag along, intending to use the opportunity for a mini vacation as well. On the train ride there, Reigen and Serizawa fall asleep just as they enter a tunnel, and when they wake up they find themselves in the other dimension.
Mob, Jitsu, and Dimple reach the hot springs where they meet up with Teru, while also dragging away a sleeping Reigen and Serizawa. The head of the springs encourages them to take it easy for the day, where they learn of the Ihoben spirit, famous for blocking the entrance to a parallel world where they are.
6. Mob Psycho 100, Season 3 (anime, 2022)
Season 3 of Mob Psycho 100 premiered on October 5, 2022, and concluded in December 2022 with 12 episodes.
Mob struggles to determine his future career path, facing uncertainty and pressure. Amidst a series of supernatural events involving cursed objects and psychic encounters, Mob grapples with his own anxieties about the future. The story takes a poignant turn as Mob confronts his darker self, and with the help of Reigen and friends, he finds resolution, embraces all aspects of himself, and moves forward with newfound clarity.
Mob Psycho 100 filler list
Due to a relatively small number of episodes, Mob Psycho 100 doesn’t have any filler episodes so far.
Will Mob Psycho have a fourth season?
As of November 2023, there is no news regarding the fourth season of Mob Psycho and it seems unlikely that the franchise will continue in this form. In any case, we will update you when we have more news.
