A great way to memorise and keep track of the movie characters we have met and the ones we still need to learn more about is to make lists of their names. An excellent way is to categorise them based on the first letter of their names and this is a list of 40 best movie characters that start with e.

Ebenezer Scrooge (A Christmas Carol)

Ebenezer is an investment banker and commodities broker who works in London and is a stingy and selfish old man, always complaining about everything. He particularly hates Christmas since he doesn’t believe in any of the messages it conveys. 

Ed (Shaun of the Dead)

Ed is Shaun’s best friend and flatmate whose friendship goes back to their school days. He deals drugs occasionally and is not very popular among other Shaun’s friends, due to his messiness and childish behaviour. He is also very untidy and immature but proves to be a true friend.
