New Official Stills For ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Revealed

The newest MCU flick Thor: Love and Thunder is closing in. We have already seen two official trailers and the official poster. Ahead of the movie’s premiere in theaters next month, Disney and Marvel revealed new stills which are featuring Chris Hemsworth’s titular God of Thunder, Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster, and two members of the Guardians of the Galaxy — Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord and Pom Klementieff’s Mantis.

Disney and Marvel revealed three new stills via Total Film (via GamesRadar+). You can check them out below:

In these new stills, we got a new look at Natalie Portman who returns to the Thor saga, and this time she’s suiting up as Mighty Thor, Goddess of Thunder, who will use the legendary hammer Mjolnir. The other two stills are showing Thor’s arms in their finest shape yet and Thor in conversation with Star-Lord and Mantis.

At the end of Avengers: Endgame, Thor has left the Earth and the throne of Asgard, naming Valkyrie the new king, while he decided to travel around the galaxy. The events of this newest movie will follow Thor as he’s meeting again with his ex-girlfriend Jane, while the next great villain, Gorr the God Butcher, arises in his plan to kill all the gods.

Christian Bale, Academy Award-winning actor and the star of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy is making a return to the superhero genre as Gorr. Guardians of the Galaxy will also appear in this movie before continuing their MCU adventure in The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Love and Thunder also stars Jaimie Alexander, who returns as Lady Sif, and Russell Crowe, Matt Damon, Sam Neill, Luke Hemsworth, and Melissa McCarthy.

Taika Waititi returns as the writer, director, and actor who plays Korg. Thor: Love and Thunder is set to premiere in theaters on July 8, 2022. Tickets are available now!
