New Rumors Hint at Charlie Cox’s Daredevil Appearance in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’

The MCU is getting ready for the release of one of its most highly anticipated shows, Daredevil: Born Again. The show is set to debut in March 2025, and from what we’ve seen so far, including leaked exclusive trailers, it looks amazing!

Even before Daredevil officially joins the MCU, fans are already asking: is there more in store for Matt Murdock?

To start with, Daredevil will have a second season, which was confirmed a few months ago. Season 2 will begin filming this fall. After that, Charlie Cox will take on a small role in Avengers: Doomsday, which means Daredevil could also make a short appearance in Spider-Man 4.

This information comes from Comicodigy, which usually focuses on theories rather than solid facts, but we can’t say the source is completely unreliable.

The connection was likely made because of the release schedule for Spider-Man 4, which is now set for July 24, 2026, while Avengers: Doomsday will come out on May 7, 2027.

Even before these announcements, there were rumors that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil would appear in the upcoming Spider-Man movie, as Kingpin was supposed to be a major villain.

However, with the recent SDCC news that Robert Downey Jr. is returning to the MCU as Doctor Doom instead of Kang, the plans for Spider-Man 4 seem to have changed. The movie is no longer focused on street-level stories but will explore Multiversal themes.

As for Daredevil’s role in Doomsday, it will likely be a smaller cameo since he isn’t powerful enough to face the challenges ahead!
