One Piece: Here’s How Long Kaido’s Dragon Form Could Be!
Kaidou is a One Piece character who is definitely among the most intriguing ones in the franchise. Now, the former Emperor of the Sea is among the strongest characters in the franchise, and many of his powers are related to his exceptionally powerful Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu, a Zoan-type Devil Fruit. And while we have analyzed his powers and abilities in great detail, his Devil Fruit is still quite interesting and there certainly are some additional questions related to it that we can answer. We know that Kaidou can turn into a dragon with his Devil Fruit, but how long is that dragon? This is a question that we are going to answer in this article.
How long is Kaidou’s dragon form?
Based on what we’ve seen in the series, Kaidou really becomes a complete monster once he transforms into his dragon form. Not only is he powerful, but Kaidou is also extremely large in this form. How large? Well, luckily for you, if you wanted to find out the answer to that question, we have it for you, thanks to Fanverse’s ShWanks:
The Numbers are stated to be as tall as Oars & can walk through Onigashima gate which is 67 Meters. (Hachi’s official databook height is 66.7 meters). Hill is at least 3x the Gate’s height at 200 Meters tall. Kaido is twice the hill’s height at only a small portion of his entire bodies length from a little above his scar on up. (A tenth of his entire length)
This means Kaido’s Dragon form is legitimately at LEAST 4km long himself comparing a very small portion of his entire length to the Hill’s height. Above Kaido’s scar neck on up is 2x the hill’s height (200m) which is barely a tenth of his entire length 😂. 200m x 2 = 400m x 10 = 4000m
The blue dot is the hill itself which Dragon Kaido is at least 10 times the height of which still pales in comparison to Onigashimas’s diameter. Dragon Kaido is at least 4000m himself.(lowballed)
You can legitimately fit a hundred of those hills across Onigashima’s diameter (they look like spots). 😂 Each hill is 200 meters tall & looking from the panel with Kaido by it the width looks equal to it’s height without the cut off. That means 200m x 100 = 20,000m for Onigashimas diameter & 8000m for Kaido’s dragon form height.
Edit: This is actually massively lowballed as the Hill is actually at least 6x the Gate’s height. This would double all the estimates to at least 40,000m for Onigashimas diameter & at least 8000m for Dragon Kaido’s length (Lowballed)

As you can see, these numbers are amazing. While we don’t know whether Oda had these calculations in mind when he created Kaidou, it is a fact that he left enough clues for us to analyze the numbers, and the results we got are simply incredible. This would make Kaido the biggest known character in the whole series (although Luffy’s Nika form is somewhere around there as well).
How strong is Kaidou’s dragon form?
The Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu is a Mythical Zoo Zoan-type Devil Fruit that transforms the user into a blue dragon and its hybrid. Kaido ate it in God Valley after Big Mom gave the Fruit when they lost the battle. It is one of the strongest Devil Fruits in the series, giving Kaido some amazing powers.
The greatest advantage of ingesting this fruit is the possibility of transforming into a blue dragon. In this form, the user can fashion flame-shaped clouds that he can lean against to fly about the sky and utilize to surround and carry anything, even whole islands, into the air.
It develops quite hard scales as well. He has further control over wind, lightning, and fire. The owner can create catastrophic tornadoes by engulfing his body with tremendous wind and spinning on himself. At the same time, if he does it with flames, he receives greater resistance and can liquefy rock.
