Pedro Pascal Supports Trans Rights at ‘Thunderbolts*’ London Premiere with Bold T-Shirt

Pedro Pascal made a statement in support of the transgender community during the Thunderbolts* movie premiere in London. The actor wore a shirt that said “Protect the Dolls” while attending the event at Cineworld Leicester Square.
This isn’t the first time Pascal has worn the shirt. He also wore it during his 50th birthday celebration on April 6.
The shirt was designed by Conner Ives and first appeared at London Fashion Week. In the LGBTQIA+ community, “dolls” is a word often used to refer to trans people.
In a separate interview, Ives explained the meaning behind the shirt. He said he wanted to speak out about the problems transgender people are facing, especially because of recent political decisions in the U.S. Government.

All the money from sales of the “Protect the Dolls” shirt goes to Trans Lifeline, a group that helps and supports transgender people.
Pascal’s choice to wear the shirt came shortly after the UK Supreme Court ruled that a woman is defined only by biological sex. This decision excludes transgender individuals from being legally recognized as women.
Pedro Pascal has been open about his support for trans rights. His brother Lucas Pascal, came out as transgender in 2021. He has shown love and support for Lux publicly.
Pascal is also set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Reed Richards in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
