Prepare for the Unknown: ‘Alien: Earth’ Episode Titles Revealed

Share:

Alien: Earth is an upcoming American sci-fi horror TV series created by Noah Hawley. It is based on the famous Alien franchise and takes place two years before the events of the 1979 Alien movie. The show stars Sydney Chandler, Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Essie Davis, and Adarsh Gourav.

The story follows a young woman and a group of soldiers after a space vessel crashes on Earth. They soon make a shocking discovery that brings them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.

Alien: Earth will premiere on FX on Hulu in the United States in mid-2025.

Now ahead of the show’s premiere episode titles have been revealed.

  • • Neverland
  • • Mr. October
  • • Metamorphosis
  • • Observation
  • • Emergence
  • • The Fly
  • • In Space, No One
  • • The Real Monsters

Before it became Alien: Earth, the show was first called Alien: Neverland. The working title “Mr. October” might hint at the big event that starts the story. Titles like “Metamorphosis” and “Observation” connect to classic Alien themes — scary changes during the Xenomorph lifecycle and humans making dangerous experiments without thinking of the risks.

“Emergence” will likely be the episode where new Xenomorphs hatch, maybe showing a “chestburster” scene. “The Fly” probably honors the movie The Fly by David Cronenberg, which was about mutation and horror caused by science gone wrong. This could mean there will be body horror and mutations in the show.

“In Space, No One” is a nod to the famous Alien tagline: “In space, no one can hear you scream.” “The Real Monsters” suggests that humans might be just as dangerous as the aliens, showing the darker side of humanity.

Alien: Earth will premiere this summer on FX and Hulu. Noah Hawley, Dana Gonzales, and Ugla Hauksdóttir are directing the episodes. The cast includes Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille, and Moe Bar-El.
