Romantic Drama to Emerge in the MCU with ‘Daredevil: Born Again,’ Thanks to a Key Scene in ‘She-Hulk: Attorney At Law’

Daredevil: Born Again is among the most highly anticipated MCU releases. The show’s production faced some challenges, originally intended as a soft reboot of the Netflix series, which led to a notably different approach. Many familiar characters were either absent or recast.

Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page was one character initially set to be excluded, but after significant rewrites and reshoots, she has been brought back into production.

Karen Page was a prominent love interest in Netflix’s Daredevil and remains one of the character’s key romantic interests in the comics. But what does this have to do with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law? Before significant changes were made to the production, Karen was likely not going to be part of the MCU or would have only been mentioned in passing.

In She-Hulk, the writers included Daredevil as a love interest for Jennifer Walters, culminating in a romantic encounter between the two in the show’s eighth episode.

Now that Karen Page is expected to play a significant role in Daredevil: Born Again, fans are curious whether this will create potential drama in the MCU between Daredevil’s ex-girlfriend and his one-night stand.

She-Hulk is also anticipated to appear in upcoming MCU projects, but it’s uncertain if her character will interact with Daredevil. In the comics, Matt Murdock has a notoriously complicated love life, featuring several tumultuous relationships.

The most notable are with Karen Page, who ultimately exposes his secret identity and turns to prostitution before being killed by Bullseye, and Elektra, who often finds herself at odds with him, even attempting to kill him on multiple occasions.
