Ryan Reynolds’ Wife Blake Lively Had A Secret Role In ‘Red Notice’

We probably never would’ve realized it if Reynolds didn’t share it now.

Red Notice, Netflix’s blockbuster and their most expensive movie yet debuted on the streaming service last week and it had the best opening for a Netflix movie ever. Looks like those $200 million were worth it, but only time will tell if Netflix is ready to throw so much in for a potential sequel that the original movie has set up, and fans on social media already made clear that they wouldn’t mind the sequel at all.

While Netflix is counting the numbers and cast and crew are thanking fans on social media, Ryan Reynolds, one of the three main stars shared one interesting behind the scenes photo from the movie set, revealing that his wife, actress Blake Lively also had a secret cameo in the movie, although no one probably realized it considering she was hidden behind the mask.

Without any major spoilers, Lively was present somewhere in the background during the scene at the masked ball where Dwayne Johnson was distracting (and dancing with) Gal Gadot, while Reynolds tried to sneak into a secret room. Sounds very familiar from, well, basically any heist movie ever made.

Reynolds recently announced that he’ll take a little break from acting, but there are plenty of projects in development that will be waiting for him when he decides to return to a movie set. The most anticipated one is definitely Deadpool 3, but who knows, maybe Red Notice 2 will see the light of the day as well, if Netflix decides to greenlit it, that is.

Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, and starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds, Red Notice is now available on Netflix.

The high-flying adventure that ensues takes the trio around the world, across the dance floor, trapped in a secluded prison, into the jungle and, worst of all for them, constantly into each other’s company.
