Fans have been eagerly looking forward to the next Captain America movie ever since Sam Wilson became the new Captain America in the MCU. Captain America: Brave New World is definitely getting a lot of attention, but the film has also faced some controversy along the way.

The path to the big screen hasn’t been smooth for this movie. It’s experienced multiple delays and expensive reshoots after test screenings didn’t go well. Now, with just a few weeks left until the movie is released, the marketing has really picked up. In the last few days, we’ve seen several new teasers and promotional materials.

One of the latest promos from Japan features Sam Wilson using his iconic vibranium shield in a surprising way—drinking tea from it. It’s a clever and fun twist that fans are sure to enjoy!

In Captain America: Brave New World, Sam Wilson will try to bring the Avengers back together, all while dealing with the looming threat of Thunderbolt Ross, who will also play one of the movie’s villains.

The movie’s cast features Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Danny Ramirez as Joaquín Torres/Falcon, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Harrison Ford as President Thaddeus Ross, Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph/Sabra, Liv Tyler as Doctor Betty Ross, Rosa Salazar as Rachel Leighton/Diamondback, and others, including Xosha Roquemore, Seth Rollins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kapil Talwalkar in undisclosed roles.

Captain America: Brave New World will hit theaters in the United States on February 14, 2025, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
