The episode begins by introducing us to our main characters, siblings; Charuk and Rani. They are onboard a train and looking to reach a certain location at the end of the line. The siblings seem to be hiding from something or on the run. It is unclear where they come from, but they don’t want to raise suspicions. At least, Charuk doesn’t want to. On the other hand, Rani, the youngest of the two, is very much hyperactive, which will get her into trouble several times.
Rani proposes that she and her brother should steal some candy. They seem to be experts at it, and they do it. However, Rani does something she should have done in public. When her brother is escaping from some guards, she grabs his flute in her hands with the power of her mind. She has displayed the abilities of a force user. People on the train look at her and threaten her with selling to the Empire. Charuk is about to get captured by Imperial forces, but a rebel group appears, and they manage to escape the chaos.
The train finally arrives at their location. It is a sort of resting place for travelers, managed by an old woman. Charuk says that he got the tip that someone in the resting stop can help them. The old woman welcomes them and gives them some fruit. Rani once again uses her force abilities and caught the attention of everyone around her. At this moment, an Imperial inquisitor arrives and gets close to Rani. It seems he is about to take her away from Charuk when the Inquisitor is attacked.
The attacker is revealed to be the old woman, who reveals herself to be a Jedi named Rugal. The old Jedi defends the siblings and fights the Inquisitor. The lightsaber fight extended but in the end, Rugal triumphs. However, Rugal says that they must disappear, she will take Rani into training, but Charuk must stay behind. Charuk says goodbye to his little sister, admitting he knew she was always set up for bigger things. As Rugal and Rani disappear, Charuk receives his flute back from her sister.
