Scooby-Doo is an American animated media franchise created by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears and based on the original work Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! released in 1969. Scooby-Doo is counted among the most popular cartoons of all time, and the franchise as a whole consists of numerous live-action films, animated films, and tv series. The premise of Scooby-Doo follows a group of teenagers and their talking dog Great Dane named Scooby-Doo as they solve mysteries relating to supernatural creatures that end up being regular crimes orchestrated by various villainous individuals.
