The Elder Scrolls

The Elder Scrolls is a series of action role-playing video games developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The games feature high fantasy elements as well as real-world pre-medieval elements. The series started with the game Arena released in 1994, and since then it has become one of the most famous video-game franchises in the world. The series consists of numerous games on a wide variety of platforms. The gameplay is set on a fictional continent of Tamriel, with each installment the player takes on a role of a “chosen hero” destined to stop the next catastrophe from obliterating the world.
