Teaser Trailer For HALO TV Series Revealed

TV series based on the popular Xbox exclusive video game series Halo is closing in on Paramount Plus, and the teaser trailer was revealed today.

The main first-person shooter video game series kicked off in 2001 with Halo: Combat Evolved, and since then six more FPS games were released in the main series, with more non-FPS games set in the franchise. The latest installment of the main series – Halo 5: Guardians – was released in 2015, and the newest installment – Halo Infinite – is set to be released by the end of this year.

“Halo is set to follow “an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant. Halo will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.”

Halo TV series was initially supposed to air on Showtime, but it was moved to Paramount+ instead. The teaser trailer highlights the famous lead character Master Chief, who’s played in the show by Pablo Schreiber.

Developed by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane, the Halo TV series is starring Pablo Schreiber, Natascha McElhone, Yerin Ha, Charlie Murphy, Jen Taylor, Shabana Azmi, Bokeem Woodbine, Kate Kennedy, Natasha Culzac, Bentley Calu, and Jen Taylor.

As we already said, Schreiber will play Master Chief, the lead character and the supersoldier known as Spartan. Natascha McElhone is playing Dr. Catherine Halsey, a UNSC scientist and the creator of the Spartan-II Project. Jen Taylor is voicing the artificial intelligence Cortana.

The series will debut on Paramount+ in early 2022. Check the first teaser trailer:
