Tom Holland Shares Touching Desire to Help Miles Morales in the MCU, Inspired by Robert Downey Jr.’s Support

Thanks to the tremendous success of the animated film series, Miles Morales is quickly becoming one of Marvel’s most beloved characters. Although he is not currently part of the MCU, recent rumors suggest that this could soon change.
Speculation is swirling about Miles potentially appearing in the upcoming Spider-Man 4 or having a role in Secret Wars. However, these claims have yet to be confirmed by official sources.
The character of Miles Morales is currently voiced by Shameik Moore, but several actors have been suggested to portray him in live-action when he makes his debut.
Over six months ago, Amy Pascal mentioned that they would consider a live-action Miles Morales film after completing two more movies, likely referring to the upcoming Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man 4.
As you may know, Tom Holland is currently playing Spider-Man in the MCU, and there has been speculation that young Miles could eventually take his place. However, in a recent interview with Rich Roll, Holland expressed that he would feel fortunate to have Miles in the same universe as him.
The actor shared that he would love to support Miles in the same way that Robert Downey Jr. supported him.
If I would be lucky enough to somehow bring Miles Morales into my Spider-Man universe and into the MCU, Id love to do for a young kid what [Robert] Downey [Jr.] did for me.

Tom Holland revealed that Robert Downey Jr. pushed for the Russo Brothers to include all of his Spider-Man lines from the audition for Captain America: Civil War, as many of them had been cut from the final film.
Holland expressed his desire to support a live-action Miles Morales actor in a similar manner if the character ever makes it to the MCU, feeling grateful for the backing he received from Downey.
The two actors share a strong connection, both on-screen and off, with Holland also mentioning that he was aware of Downey’s return as Doctor Doom before the official announcement.
