McElroy, centered around deformed cannibal families hunting and brutally killing people in West Virginia using traps and weaponry. ‘Wrong Turn’ movies aren’t exactly the best horror films you will ever watch, but they are decent enough to warrant an entire franchise with numerous sequels. Today, ‘Wrong Turn’ franchise consists out of seven movies in total, and today, we’re going to tell you how to watch them in order.

In 1974, the Hillicker Brothers, Three Finger, Saw Tooth, and One Eye, escape from Glenville Sanatorium, causing a riot and mercilessly slaughtering staff. Twenty-nine years later, in 2003, a group of Weston University students becomes stranded in a snowstorm and seeks refuge in the same sanatorium, unknowingly crossing paths with the cannibalistic Hillickers. Despite warnings from Lauren about the cannibals, skepticism prevails among her friends until Vincent’s exploration leads to a deadly encounter with Saw Tooth.

Months after the sanatorium massacre, the Hillicker Brothers—Three Finger, Saw Tooth, and One Eye—begin a killing spree in Fairlake, West Virginia, aided by the serial killer Maynard Odets, their grandfather. They start by murdering news reporter Kaleen Webber. Meanwhile, a group of friends headed to the Mountain Man Music Festival for Halloween, including Billy, Cruz, Lita, Gus, and Julian, have a violent encounter with Maynard. After being apprehended by Sheriff Angela Carter and Deputy Kevin Biggs, the situation takes a deadly turn as the cannibals emerge, leading to chaos and the killing of Deputy Biggs.

Years after the Fairlake massacre, college students Rich and Halley embark on a rock-climbing adventure in a remote West Virginia forest. Rich is murdered at the cliff’s top, and Halley, attempting to escape, is ensnared in barbed wire and dragged into the woods. Medical student Chris Flynn later travels through the mountains and encounters a group of camping college students who discover intentional sabotage of their car’s tires, setting the stage for a new ordeal in the wilderness.

Following the West Virginia forest massacre, reality show contestant Kimberly accidentally hits a teenager while searching for her next project location. Upon stopping to help, she encounters an inbred cannibal who bites her lips off. In a brutal encounter, Three Finger and the cannibal Brother ultimately split her in half with an axe. Meanwhile, former Marine Colonel Dale Murphy hosts a survival reality game show, “The Apocalypse: Ultimate Survivalist,” with contestants, including a replacement for Kimberly, participating in the dangerous West Virginia forest setting.

Years after the reality TV show massacre, four college students embark on a rafting trip in the West Virginia backcountry. The inbred cannibal Three Finger interrupts their camping, murdering all but Alex, who witnesses her friends’ deaths. Meanwhile, three prison guards and a group of prisoners, including crime organization leader Carlo Chavez, find themselves in a perilous situation as Three Finger’s attacks lead to a bus crash, forcing them to continue on foot with the prisoners holding guards Nate and Walter hostage.

In West Virginia, the Hillicker brothers Three Finger, Saw Tooth, and One Eye commit gruesome murders at a bike trail, under the care of their demented relatives Jackson and Sally at Hobbs Springs resort. Danny, attending for a family inheritance with friends, is unaware of his cousins’ cannibalistic tendencies and the recent murders at the resort. As disappearances and suspicions mount, Danny’s friends, particularly Toni and Vic, become increasingly wary of the true nature of his cousins, leading to a tense deterioration of relationships within the group.

Jen Shaw and her companions, including couples Darius, Adam, Milla, Gary, Luis, arrive in a small Virginia town to hike the Appalachian Trail, encountering hostility from locals like Nate. As they venture off the trail to find an old fort, a tragic accident claims Gary’s life. Bruised, lost, and disoriented, they discover a plaque from 1859 marking the presence of the “Foundation,” a group of settlers in the mountains who believed in the imminent end of the United States.

McElroy, the creator of the series, expressed his wishes to make at least two more sequels to the ‘Wrong Turn’ reboot that was released in 2021; however, no concrete plans have been made, and so far, there is no news regarding the continuation of the franchise.
