365 Days is a Polish erotic thriller movie franchise. It was based on a series of books by Polish author Blanka Lipińska. The author says that the inspiration for her erotic trilogy was Fifty Shades of Grey and a personal holiday trip to Sicily. This franchise gained fame when the first movie came out on Netflix in 2020. Soon after, in 2022, two more movies came out. Even though all three movies received universally negative reviews, it was one of the most watched items in numerous territories on multiple continents, even breaking the Netflix record for having one of the longest periods as the most watched item in Netflix’s history in the United States.

The story of 365 Days movies follows Massimo Torricelli, the head of the Sicilian Mafia family, and Laura, a sales director. Laura decides to go to Italy to save her dying relationship with her boyfriend, Martin. What she doesn’t know is that Massimo has his eye on her and that he will kidnap her and give her 365 days to fall in love with him.

Currently, there are three 365 Days movies out on Netflix. The first movie that came out in 2020 is just called 365 days. The sequel, 365 Days: This Day, came out in April 2022. Four months later in August 2022, the third installment, The Next 365 Days came out.

Heartbroken, she leaves the party, where she meets Nacho. They escape to an island. They have a great time, while Massimo wonders where is Laura. Everything comes crashing down when Laura finds out Nacho is the son of the head of the rival Mafia gang of Massimo. Things get even worse when Laura is kidnapped by Adriano, Massimo’s twin. How will she survive this, and what will the hot-tempered Massimo do?

3. Next 365 Days (2022)

Synopsis: Laura and Massimo’s relationship hangs in the balance as they try to overcome trust issues and jealousy while a tenacious Nacho works to push them apart. In the end, Massimo admits that he’s known about Nacho for a long time but didn’t say anything. Massimo has been driven by a quote his father used to read to him. He didn’t understand it back then but he does now: “If you really love something just let it go. If it comes back, it’ll be yours forever. If it doesn’t, then it was never meant to be.” Will they make it?

All 365 Days movies are tightly connected. The plot revolves around Massimo and Laura’s relationship, and the supporting characters don’t really have their separate plot, everything is connected to the main romantic relationship. Will there be more 365 Days movies?

The third movie ends with a big cliffhanger, but as of now, nothing has been confirmed for 365 Days 4. But, there is a good chance Netflix will greenlight the project. These movies aren’t expensive to film, and they always end up breaking records when it comes to watching time.
