We have already talked about the Illuminati and their members, but in this article, we are going to cover a topic that is related to the Illuminati, but not to their members – but rather a location that is important for them. The location we are talking about is the Dream Town Inari, and in this article, we are going to tell you all you need to know about this location and why it is so important to the Illuminati.

Dream Town Inari is the central location associated with the Illuminati

They go under the name of Bright Future Foundation, which some of you may recognize, but in reality, they are the Illuminati. In the universe of Blue Exorcist, a group of wealthy and influential people are behind the dangerous organization known as the Illuminati. Because their actions and ambitions are unrelated to their public persona, little much is known about them. They are in possession of technology that were originally thought to be non-existent, such as when they managed to open a phony Gehenna Gate. The Illuminati are exceedingly dangerous, and that is why a whole arc was dedicated to them.

As we have stated in an earlier article, the Illuminati experiment with forcing Demons to possess humans, but they are more than just sadists; they have a purpose in mind. Specifically, they want to merge Gehenna and Assiah once more in order to “return the world to the original state from which both darkness and light originated.” This is their main objective. Naturally, they also intend to bring Satan back to life in the interim because their ultimate objective is to establish a society in which peace and equality prevail. How Satan is connected to peace is a mystery even to us, but hey… a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do, eh?

Be that as it may, this introduction served as a segue to the principal topic of this article, which is their base of operations, and that is the Dream Town Inari. Inari is the headquarters of the Illuminati, and through the group’s large wealth, it was actually converted into a tourist attraction so that the Illuminati could work there without problems while keeping appearances for the public eye. It looks quite nice, but it is actually a well-defended fortress.

Inari is the setting of the majority of the Illuminati Arc, and the heroes of Blue Exorcist are going to visit the location later in the series, which will reveal more about it. What you need to know here is that beneath the fortress, there is a well-kept dungeon that serves both as a prison and as the central hub for the Illuminati’s experiments, which makes this underground facility a very dangerous and notorious place. As we said, the series is going to explore it more later, so we won’t be spoiling everything here.
