Terraria is a best-selling action-adventure sandbox game developed by Re-Logic. People were interested when it was first released because it used concepts similar to Minecraft’s. Although the two games are different, some fame that the game achieved was attributed to Minecraft. Now 12 years after the game’s original release, it’s time to take a look at the number and see for ourselves how well Terraria stood the test of time. Let’s see how many people play Terraria.

However, this is a far cry from May 2020, when the game reached the peak of 486,918 players enjoying the game. The game had a moment of increased popularity in November 2023 when the peak reported number of players was an astonishing 59,965 players. The interest in the game rose. The increased interest lasted only a short time, as the game now reports losses in player numbers for two months in a row.

The peak number of recorded live viewers was on February 12, 2021, when 270,186 viewers were streaming the game over a single day.

This depends on whether the game will receive some big announcements in the future. For now, the popularity will remain steady with slight declines as there’s nothing new planned for the game in the immediate future.
