Disney has given Marvel fans a first look at Avengers: Doomsday with a new promo that highlights Doctor Doom, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and other key characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The movie is still over a year away, but Disney and Marvel Studios are already teasing audiences ahead of the official marketing campaign.

The preview appeared as a 3-D light show at the Walt Disney Studios Marketing Expo in Shanghai, China. Doctor Doom was the main focus, but fans also saw glimpses of other MCU heroes. A video of the presentation was shared on X by @AvengersUpdated, though it is unclear when the light show will be shown to the public or where it might appear.

The promo also offered fans a closer look at Doctor Doom’s suit, which appears to follow the comic book design. While it’s not confirmed if this will be the exact costume used in the film, it has already sparked excitement online.

Avengers: Doomsday is the fifth Avengers film and the 39th entry in the MCU. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and written by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely, the film features a large ensemble cast including Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., and many others. The story will see the Avengers, Wakandans, Fantastic Four, New Avengers, and X-Men team up to face Doctor Doom.

Filming began in April in England and Bahrain. The movie is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on December 18, 2026, and its sequel, Secret Wars, will follow on December 17, 2027.
