Zack Snyder Reveals New Look at Jared Leto’s Knightmare Joker
Zack Snyder has once again stirred excitement among DC fans by sharing a fresh look at Jared Leto’s Joker from the Knightmare timeline featured in his cut of Justice League.
The director posted the behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram, giving followers another eerie glimpse of Leto’s take on the Clown Prince of Crime.
Snyder is known for frequently posting unseen images from his time working on the DC Extended Universe, and this latest one instantly grabbed attention.
The shot captures the darker, post-apocalyptic version of Joker seen in the Knightmare sequence, a far cry from the tattooed gangster aesthetic of Suicide Squad (2016).
Jared Leto’s portrayal of Joker has divided audiences since his debut. While some praised his intense and unpredictable performance, others felt it strayed too far from previous versions like Heath Ledger’s.
However, Snyder’s extended cut of Justice League gave Leto a second chance to redefine the role. Many fans agreed that his short appearance in the Knightmare sequence was more haunting and restrained, fitting better with Snyder’s gritty vision.
