The brief embrace, captured by onlookers, appeared to be friendly, but that didn’t stop speculation online. One fan wrote, “Is there any celeb she won’t date?” while another joked about “Tom Cruise crying in the corner.” Despite the chatter, many pointed out that the hug seemed purely platonic.

De Armas and Stan first worked together on the 2023 film Ghosted and have often appeared together in public and at press events. Stan, widely recognized for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is currently dating actress Annabelle Wallis.

The couple generally keep their relationship private but have been seen together on several red carpets in 2025. During his Golden Globes acceptance speech for A Different Man, Stan even shouted out his girlfriend, exclaiming, “Annabelle, I love you!”

Ana de Armas has had a high-profile love life over the years. She married Spanish actor Marc Clotet in 2011 and divorced in 2013. She later dated Ben Affleck from 2020 to early 2021.
