Alan Ritchson Goes Full Force in Explosive New Clip from Netflix’s ‘War Machine’
Netflix has released a new clip from the upcoming action-packed sci-fi film War Machine, starring Alan Ritchson. The preview gives fans a glimpse of the intense training exercise at the heart of the movie, which quickly turns into a fight for survival.
According to Netflix, the recruits face a mechanoid unlike anything they’ve ever seen, pushing fear, fatigue, and paranoia to the limit.
The story follows the final stage of US Army Ranger selection. What starts as a controlled exercise soon becomes a deadly hunt, and the recruits must face a highly advanced mechanoid that won’t stop until it eliminates them all.

The film features a strong ensemble cast including Dennis Quaid, Stephan James, Jai Courtney, Esai Morales, Keiynan Lonsdale, Blake Richardson, and Daniel Webber.
The film was shot in Victoria, Australia, from September to December 2024, with Patrick Hughes directing and co-writing alongside James Beaufort. Hughes is known for his work on The Hitman’s Bodyguard and The Expendables 3. Dmitri Golovko composed the music for the film, and Gelareh Kiazand handled cinematography. The movie carries an R rating for strong violence, grisly images, and language.
Netflix took to social media to promote the clip, tweeting, No amount of training can prepare you. War Machine, starring Alan Ritchson, premieres in 1 week.
The movie had a theatrical release in Australia on February 12, and will be available to stream worldwide on Netflix starting March 6.
From the look of the new clip, the film promises non-stop action and a high-stakes survival story. In my opinion, fans of intense military sci-fi and action-packed thrillers are in for a real treat with this one. Are you planning to watch War Machine when it hits Netflix?
