Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet drew attention at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday as they promoted their upcoming film Dune: Part Three, according to coverage from the event held at Caesars Palace.

The two actors appeared together on the red carpet while presenting the next chapter in the Dune franchise, which is scheduled to release in theaters on December 18.

Zendaya, 29, wore a sharp, structured outfit that matched the film’s desert theme. She stepped out in a fitted nude-toned blazer with strong shoulders and a matching pencil skirt. The fabric had a soft, faded finish that gave the outfit a muted, desert-like feel. She completed the look with metallic gold heels.

Her hair was styled back, keeping the focus on her face and jewelry. She wore small gold earrings and kept her makeup soft and glowing, with light eye makeup, mascara, and a warm blush. A glossy nude lip completed her look.

Chalamet kept a relaxed but coordinated style beside her. He wore tan pants with a similar faded tone and layered them with a black hoodie and a dark brown zip-up jacket. His outfit stayed in earthy tones that matched Zendaya’s overall aesthetic.

Both actors are returning to their roles as Chani and Paul Atreides in the new film. The cast also includes Robert Pattinson, Florence Pugh, Jason Momoa, Rebecca Ferguson, and Anya Taylor-Joy.

At CinemaCon, Zendaya and Chalamet joined director Denis Villeneuve and Jason Momoa for a panel presentation. They introduced early footage from the film, including the first seven minutes, giving attendees a preview of what’s to come.

Villeneuve described the film as more emotional and intense than previous entries. He said, “a thriller – action-packed, more intense and definitely more emotional.” He also spoke about the core story, adding, “But still the heartbeat of the film is that love story between Chani and Paul, [albeit] more of a broken love story.”

Zendaya shared insight into her character’s journey, saying, “at a very different place in her life where that youthful outlook is completely gone.” Chalamet also spoke about Paul Atreides’ transformation, explaining he has “become his worst vision and he’s struggling to… figure out how to protect those he loves while becoming the all-powerful dark emperor of the universe.”

The event also reflected on the long production journey of the franchise, with Villeneuve noting the emotional end of the story. He said, “We became like a small family. It’s like 10 years of our lives.”
