It has been a big year of transition for Erin Moriarty. After seven years playing Annie January, better known as Starlight, the actress said goodbye to Prime Video’s ‘The Boys’ when its fifth and final season premiered on April 8. The series wrapped with the finale ‘Blood and Bone’, giving Starlight a happy ending alongside Jack Quaid’s Hughie.

The final season was an emotional chapter for Moriarty on and off screen. She has openly shared that she was diagnosed with Graves’ disease while filming it, later crediting Quaid’s encouragement to seek medical attention, and she filmed the season’s final episodes while undergoing treatment.

Now the actress is giving fans a more relaxed glimpse into her life. In newly shared photos highlighted by fan account cinesthetic, Moriarty poses in a softly lit room in front of an ornate dark headboard, the warm glow giving the images an intimate, golden-hour feel.

‘The Boys’ Star Erin Moriarty Keeps It Effortlessly Cool in a New Mirror Selfie

She wears a fitted red knit top with a ruffled hem and tie-front details, paired with jeans and a delicate pendant necklace. In one shot, she raises a cocktail glass garnished with olives while closing her eyes and pursing her lips playfully, while the second frame captures a more sultry, direct gaze at the camera.

The post quickly drew attention. Fans have embraced the cozy, flirty vibe, which feels like a natural continuation of the personal moments she has been sharing lately. These aren’t the only photos to get fans talking this month.

On October 9, Moriarty shared a batch of mirror selfies in a sheer black look, captioned “Olive you,” alongside a snap of 2 cocktails, one with an olive in it. The playful olive theme seems to carry over into her latest set. It’s a fun, lighthearted side of the actress that fans rarely got to see during her years playing the earnest Starlight.

Moriarty’s career is moving full steam ahead beyond Vought. She is set to star in Gary Fleder’s horror film ‘True Haunting’ as Marsha Becker, opposite ‘Stranger Things’ actor Jamie Campbell Bower, who plays her husband Edwin in the story based on true events.

She has also joined ‘Lips Like Sugar’, a neo-noir thriller starring Woody Harrelson, Owen Wilson and Juliette Lewis. Both projects suggest she’s eager to explore darker, grittier genres after her superhero run.

Before ‘The Boys’, Moriarty built a strong résumé with roles in ‘Jessica Jones’ as Hope Shlottman, ‘True Detective’ and ‘Red Widow’. Her indie breakout came in ‘The Kings of Summer’, and in 2014, IndieWire named her one of the best actors under 20.

She also reprised Starlight in ‘Gen V’ Season 2 as part of a crossover between the 2 shows, cementing the character as one of the franchise’s most recognizable heroes. After an intense final season and a demanding few years, Moriarty appears to be enjoying a more relaxed rhythm.

Her latest photos capture a confident, carefree mood that fans have clearly welcomed. With new film roles on the horizon, the actress is entering an exciting new phase. If her recent posts are any indication, she’s ready to have some fun along the way.
