Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh and Robert Pattinson Greet Korean Fans in a New ‘Dune: Part Three’ Promo
Few franchises have redefined the modern blockbuster like Denis Villeneuve’s ‘Dune’ saga. The first film grossed more than $400 million worldwide, and ‘Dune: Part Two’ earned about $714.7 million, ranking 7th among 2024’s biggest global hits.
Now the trilogy’s final chapter is almost here. ‘Dune: Part Three’, adapted from Frank Herbert’s ‘Dune Messiah’, opens on December 18 through Warner Bros. Pictures, and the studio’s international promotional campaign is ramping up.
The latest piece of promotion is aimed at fans in South Korea. A new video features Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh and Robert Pattinson greeting Korean audiences ahead of the film’s local release.
In the clip, Chalamet and Zendaya sit side by side in armchairs in front of a warm, glowing backdrop lit by small amber lamps. Chalamet wears a relaxed olive cardigan, while Zendaya stands out in a sleek golden-yellow halter dress.
Korean subtitles in the video remind viewers that the film is set to open in Korea in December. The promo has spread quickly online, with fans praising how polished the stars looked.

The story jumps forward 17 years after the events of ‘Dune: Part Two’. Paul Atreides now rules as emperor and must face the consequences of holding absolute power while enemies plot to overthrow him.
Paul and Chani have reunited and are expecting a child, but their relationship appears headed for trouble. The film’s teaser poster shows the 2 facing each other in the desert of Arrakis, hinting at the tension between an emperor and a rebel warrior.
Villeneuve has described the finale as a tense, action-packed thriller with more war and battle sequences than before. He also stressed that Paul and Chani’s relationship remains the emotional heart of the story.

Pattinson is one of the biggest additions to the cast. He plays Scytale, a new villain who targets the heart of Paul’s empire, and his introduction in the trailers has generated plenty of buzz.
Pugh returns as Princess Irulan, alongside Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, and Javier Bardem as Stilgar. Anya Taylor-Joy joins as Alia Atreides, and Jason Momoa returns as Duncan Idaho. The cast also includes Léa Seydoux as Lady Margot and Isaach De Bankolé as Farok, with newcomers Ida Brooke as Ghanima and Nakoa-Wolf Momoa as Leto II.
Warner Bros. has turned the release into a worldwide event. The second trailer and new key art premiered at the ‘Dune: Part Three’ IMAX Global Fan First Event in Los Angeles, where Chalamet made a surprise appearance alongside Villeneuve.

Fans greeted him with chants of “Lisan al-Gaib” when he arrived. Chalamet said he was moved by the community the films have built and promised that the third chapter would not simply repeat the formula of the earlier movies.
In one of the trailer’s most striking moments, a sandworm stops in front of Chani as Paul asks for forgiveness for everything he has done, a scene that left fans speculating about the story’s emotional ending.
With the release just weeks away, international greetings like this one show how big Warner Bros. expects the finale to be. Korean audiences have been among the franchise’s enthusiastic supporters, and the studio is clearly working to keep that excitement high. For many fans, the trilogy’s conclusion is one of the biggest film events of the year. Seeing the main stars together again only adds to the anticipation for Paul’s final chapter.
