‘A Couple of Cuckoos’ Season 2 Releases New Trailer, Confirms July Premiere

Written by Miki Yoshikawa, the A Couple of Cuckoos manga debuted back in 2020 and is still ongoing, with 26 published volumes as of the time of writing. This rom-com manga with harem elements quickly became a hit among the fans due to its quirkiness and humor.
An anime adaptation premiered in 2022 and the first season ended after 24 episodes. And while a second season had been confirmed some time ago, the fans had to wait long for it to actually be produced.
But the wait is finally coming to an end later this year. The producers of the anime have released a new trailer, confirming several important details related to the second season, including the release window.

The most important thing you need to take from the trailer is that the second season will premiere in July 2025 on a Sunday, although we still don’t have the exact date. Also, we can confirm that 22/7 will perform the new season’s ending theme song, “Anata de Nakucha” (It Has to be You).
The second season will also feature a completely new crew, with Masakazu Hishida directing at studio Okuru to Noboru, Kyoko Chika in charge of the character designs, and Jou Aoba in charge of the scripts.
The only returning major staff member is Rei Ishizuka, who is returning to compose the music at IMAGINE.
On the other hand, the cast members are all returning, so the second season will feature the well-known voices from season one, with one addition – Hina Yomiya as Ai Mochizuki:
