Alakkir Island: Lost Ark Guide To Tokens, Quests & Rewards (With Images)

Lost Ark flaunts a massive selection of exciting adventures and activities for its players, many of which involve exploring Arkesia’s unique islands. Alakkir Island is a great location to acquire helpful resources and even obtain special items, but many players can find the process slightly perplexing since it’s not marked on Arkesia’s map.

Alakkir Island is located to the left of the Arthetine continent, spawning several times throughout each day. The Island involves daily quests and a co-op battle with savage and giant chicken enemies, rewarding players with valuable loot.

It can feel frustrating to get to Alakkir Island and partake in the events to acquire its amazing rewards. But, getting there and taking advantage of everything Alakkir Island has to offer can be fairly straightforward with the right approaches.

What Is Alakkir Island In Lost Ark?

There are various fascinating islands scattered throughout the land of Arkesia, ranging from tiny island hideaways to larger islands populated with villages and unique landscapes. However, Lost Ark also features some special islands that offer players some great activities, items, and collectibles.

Alakkir Island, also known as the Chicken Island, is classified as an Adventure Island in Lost Ark, meaning that it involves an event and players can only visit the island when it’s active. There’s plenty to see and do on Alakkir Island, and players can walk away – or, sail away – with many handy items, currencies, and even unique rewards.

How To Get To Alakkir Island In Lost Ark

Alakkir Island is not marked on Arkesia’s map, and many players have found locating the island quite tricky as a result. The island is situated to the left of the Arthetine continent. Below is the map quadrant chart and display of Alakkir Island’s specific location, thanks to Icy Veins:

Players would have first needed to unlock the sailing ability in Lost Ark before they can travel via ship on Arkesia’s World Map. The sailing ability can be unlocked after completing the Set Sail quest, the final quest in the East Luterra storyline.

Although this may seem like extra effort, players will need to complete this quest as part of the main questline. Since the main questline is crucial for progressing to the endgame and is essential for unlocking powerful class skills and even more awesome in-game activities, unlocking the sailing ability to visit Alakkir Island will be more of a bonus.

Alakkir Island Spawn Time

Alakkir Island will appear several times throughout each day, including day and night cycles. This means players will have plenty of opportunities to take part in its awesome activities.

Players can keep an eye on Alakkir Island’s availability using their Procyon’s Compass – a tool that will display numerous scheduled events and dungeons. Follow these steps to make sure you catch the Alakkir Island event while it’s active:

  1. Select the compass icon under the minimap in the upper-left corner of the HUD to open Procyon’s Compass.
  2. Click on ‘Appearance Info’ for ‘Adventure Island’ from the activity tab menu.
  3. Set and in-game alarm in Lost Ark to track when the Alakkir Island event begins.

Players can receive certain rewards once they move onto the next tier by completing a certain number of Una’s Tasks. Below are the Tiers and rewards:

  1. Tier 1 30/30: Silver 5,000
  2. Tier 2 40/40: Silver 6,000
  3. Tier 3 80/80: Craft Method (Half-Boiled Egg Chair); Silver 14,000

Alakkir Island Quests

There is a string of co-op quest phases waiting on Alakkir Island, as well as a special daily quest that players can complete for extra rewards. Below is an outline of each of Alakkir Island’s quests and how they reward successful players.

Alakkir Island Daily Quest

Players can partake in a unique daily quest on Alakkir Island named Special Dish. Completing this quest will grant players some useful upgrade materials, which are set at a considerably higher value compared to other sources around Arkesia.

Alakkir Island Co-Op Quest

The Alakkir Island co-op quest involves 2 rounds, with the final round including an incredibly comical yet tough boss. Players will need to defeat three giant chickens (chickings) in this co-op quest, named Terrifying Chickings, and the quest can be triggered by interacting with the Shandars NPC. Below are the details of the co-op quest, with all images thanks to Maxroll:

White and Black Chickings

The White and Black Chickings will be the first two giant chickens to spawn. These chickens will charge at players, attempting to inflict damage using their beaks.

Ideally, players should try and kill the White and Black chickens at a similar time by balancing out attacks and the inflicted similar damage output against them.

Golden Chicking (Alakkir Island Boss)

A Golden Chicking will spawn once one of the White or Black chickens die, and this will trigger the Alakkir Island ‘Boss Fight’ as it has significantly more health than the first two enemies. The Golden Chicking will take reduced damage as long as a White or Black chicken is still on the battlefield, so players will still need to focus on taking either of them out as soon as possible if needed.

The Golden Chicking also has a sort of debuff, as it will transform all players into tiny golden chickens once it reaches the 10 and 5 lines of remaining health. Players will need to somehow survive until this transformation phase ends, and continue attacking to defeat the boss.

Alakkir Island Token Quest

Players can obtain the Alakkir Island Token, otherwise known as an Island Heart, an item that proves the island has accepted the player. These tokens can be exchanged for some awesome rewards with Opher on the Lonely Island.

There is a chance to receive the Alakkir Island Token, but it will require some extra steps. Players may obtain the Splendid Golden Feather as a drop from the Golden Chicking, which will trigger a quest named The Best, Golden Chicken! that will reward players with the Alakkir Island Token.

The quest itself is very simple, as players will simply need to take the Golden Feather to Alakkir Island’s vendor. Apart from the Island Token, completing The Best, Golden Chicken! will provide the following rewards to players:

  • Rare Battle Engraving Recipe Selection Pouch x3
  • Silver 10,000

Alakkir Island Rewards and Vendors

Defeating the Golden Chicking will complete the Alakkir Island co-op quest. The Golden Chicking will drop feathers that can be traded with Alakkir Island’s vendor in exchange for Rapport. Additional drops from the Alakkir Island boss include the following:

  • Splendid Gold Feather
  • Secret Map (Adventure: Moonkeep)
  • Chicking Gold Feather
  • Alaker Egg
  • Exquisite Feather

Taking on the Golden Chicking definitely offers some valuable drops, but completing the co-op quest itself also rewards players with some great loot. Finishing Terrifying Chickings will reward players with the following items:

  • Kindness +1
  • Legendary – Uncommon Card Pack x2
  • Rare Engraving Recipe Selection Chest (Class Exclusive) x1
  • Silver 5,000

There are also various eggs scattered across Alakkir Island, as seen above thanks to Icy Veins, which players can crack after defeating the Golden Chicking. These eggs will provide materials that can also be exchanged with Alakkir Island’s vendor.

Shandar, the Chicking Merchant

Players can interact with Shandar for various purposes, such as starting the Island quests or triggering the Island Token drop. But, they can also buy quite a few useful items from the store in exchange for Alakkir Island’s unique feathers, which will be dropped by the co-op quest.

However, each of these items involves specific buy limits. Below are the items that players can buy from Shandar:

  • Destruction Stone Fragment (Bound): Limit Per Entry 3/3; Costs Fancy Feather x25
  • Guardian Stone Fragment (Bound): Limit Per Entry 10/10; Costs Alaker Egg x35
  • Torso Sculpture: Limit Per Entry 1/1; Costs Chicking Gold Feather x5

Alakkir Island Mokoko Seed Location

There is a Mokoko Seed location on Alakkir Island, which players can find to obtain awesome rewards from the Mokoko Seed vendor. Its location can be easy to miss as it’s located underwater, but its placement is as follows thanks to Maxroll:

Although Alakkir Island may take more effort than many other Lost Ark activities, its unique activities are incredibly fun and rewarding. Players can obtain useful items, collectibles, and even some well-needed Rapport that will add value to the overall Lost Ark experience.
