‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Debuts First Trailer, Highlighting the Best Version of the Character Yet
Fans have eagerly anticipated the next chapter in the ‘Captain America’ franchise since Sam Wilson assumed the mantle in the MCU. The character’s first solo film generated considerable hype but also encountered several controversies.
The movie’s production was fraught with challenges, including multiple delays and reportedly expensive and extensive reshoots prompted by unfavorable test screenings.

The trailer showcases Thaddeus Ross persuading Sam Wilson into militarizing the Avengers, Captain America’s new winged action, Esposito’s new villainous character, and most importantly, plenty of action.
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ follows Sam Wilson’s quest to reunite the Avengers, contending with the watchful eye of Thunderbolt Ross, who also appears as one of the villains. The cast includes Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Danny Ramirez as Joaquín Torres/Falcon, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Harrison Ford as President Thaddeus Ross, Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph/Sabra, Liv Tyler as Doctor Betty Ross, Rosa Salazar as Rachel Leighton/Diamondback, Xosha Roquemore, Seth Rollins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kapil Talwalkar in undisclosed roles.
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is scheduled to premiere in the United States on February 14, 2025, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
