Could We See Two Captain Americas in the MCU? Recent Rumors Suggest So

The MCU has faced some tough times lately, with many big movies not doing well and even breaking some bad records. A lot of the new stuff coming up gets trashed on social media before it even comes out.
Take ‘Captain America: Brave New World,’ for example. There’s a chunk of fans who just won’t accept Sam Wilson as Captain America, even though Steve Rogers got a good ending to his story.
However, most fans are pretty pumped about the upcoming ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ and ‘Secret Wars.’ A big reason is the possibility of different versions of characters. ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is already buzzing with talk of 25 cameos and variants, and ‘Secret Wars’ is expected to double that once the media blitz kicks in. Marvel’s well aware of the hype, which is why they dropped an official reference to it during CinemaCon. In one scene, Deadpool starts spilling the beans to Wolverine about who’s in ‘Secret Wars,’ only to get cut off by a ringing phone.
Fans are hoping to see a wide range of characters in the movie, from Beyonder to Iron Man. While there’s no solid evidence yet, there’s a strong rumor that Chris Evans has already agreed to reprise his role as Captain America in ‘Avengers: Secret Wars,’ set to come out in 2027.
Not much is known about the movie except its release date. It’s a sequel to several earlier Avengers films, like ‘The Avengers,’ ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ and ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.’ It’s the fortieth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, wrapping up Phase Six and The Multiverse Saga.
