Even though it’s highly anticipated, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ faced significant challenges during its development. After shooting over half of the episodes, the project was canceled and postponed, undergoing substantial revisions to its storyline.

A new creative team was introduced to helm the MCU-based TV series. Dario Scardapane will serve as the new showrunner, while Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead were named as the co-directors.

The original plan was for the first season of the show to have 18 episodes. However, after news of the show’s potential rework surfaced, this number was significantly reduced. The studio decided to keep certain scenes and episodes that had already been filmed while incorporating new story elements. According to insiders, the new version of the show is expected to have 9 episodes, with the possibility of a second part depending on its success and audience reception.

Recently, Deadline reported that ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will be extended to two seasons. This means that Part 2 has been approved before the release of Season 1, likely due to the positive anticipation from fans and the overall interest in the show.

Yesterday, filming for Part 1 of the show concluded, confirmed by multiple sources. Now, industry insiders reveal that filming for Part 2 is set to start in November 2024.

This busy filming schedule might overlap with the production of ‘Spider-Man 4’, given the rumors of Daredevil and Kingpin’s involvement in the film. The next Spider-Man installment is speculated to focus on street-level stories.

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is expected to premiere in 2025. Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
