Disney animated movies are a neverending inspiration not only to children but to adults as well. There are countless unforgettable characters everyone loves and it is always good to remember them. This list brings 40 Disney characters whose names start with the letter b, some main and some supporting characters in the most beloved cartoons of all time.

Backson (Winnie the Pooh)

The Backson is a big furry creature, a purple bull-like monster with a blue coat, and red hair always covering his eyes. He is described as a vicious creature that enjoys chaos and is constantly trying to catch Pooh and his friends. But it seems that he is simply an individual who has never experienced love and is only searching for a friend.

Bagheera (The Jungle Book)

One of Mowgli’s best friends and greatest protectors is this lovable panther with a somewhat short temper. He is a wise and honourable animal and one of the most realistic creatures in the jungle, but can sometimes be too impulsive which results in some reckless decisions.

Bailey (Finding Dory)

Bailey is a white beluga whale who used to live in the Marine Life Institute until he abandoned it with his friend Destiny. He is convinced his sonar skills are not working properly, but it seems there is nothing wrong with them. In his “healing” process he is going to help many.

Baloo (The Jungle Book)

Baloo is a good-natured, happy and fun-loving sloth bear and one of the most important friends in Mowgli’s life. He speaks with a soft and smooth tone, loves to sing and tries not to take life too seriously. He is also lazy and easy-going, but always there when his friends are in need and never forgets to cheer them up, even in the most difficult situations.

Bambi (Bambi)

Bambi is a deer who spends its time wandering around the forest with his best friends Thumper and flower. When he loses his mother to a human’s hand he is raised into a buck by his father, the king of the forest. Bambi has always been a somewhat shy and sensitive little deer but grew up to be a strong and brave protector.

Barbie (Toy Story 3)

Barbie is a slender doll with blonde her, big blue eyes and fair skin, interested in fashion and everything material. Like other Barbies, she is also very energetic and friendly, loves partying and having a good time and can always be seen with a smile on her face. 

Bashful (Snow White)

Bashful is one of the seven dwarves, the emotional and sensitive individual, often blushing when embarrassed and hiding behind his long beard. He is the romantic of the group, a shy and self-conscious dwarf, slender and short with fair skin, hazel eyes and a pink cherry nose.

Baymax (Big Hero 6)

Baymax is a healthcare robot and a member of the superhero team Big Hero 6. He is very tall and robust but built to be soft, cute and non-threatening so his patients can feel secure in his hands. He has many talents and abilities, such as multilingualism, and superhuman strength. He can also scan other people and see if they are lying or telling the truth. 

Beast (Beauty and the Beast)

The main male protagonist in this beloved story is a once prince who was cursed into a monster by a mysterious enchantress as a punishment for his arrogant and selfish behaviour. He is a mixture of several animals, tall and strong, with the horns of a buffalo, claws and body of a bear, mane of a lion and teeth and tail of a wolf.

In the beginning, he is irritable and aggressive, but he is hiding his soft side and good heart which can be recognised when he meets Belle and gets to know her better.

Bellwether (Zootopia)

The main antagonist in this animated feature is this seemingly lovely sheep whose ideas and plans are scary and dangerous. She wants to become the new mayor and create a new order where prey animals dominate the predators. On the surface, she appears nice and cuddly, but in fact, she is a vengeful and diabolical personality everyone should be afraid of.

Benja (Raya and the Last Dragon)

Captain Benja is the chief of Heart in Kumandra and Guardian of the Dragon Gem. He has dark brown eyes and black hair and can be seen wearing greenish turquoise clothing with one sleeve up to his elbow. He trained Raya in sword fighting and hand-to-hand combat and sacrificed himself to save his daughter’s life.

Berlioz (The Aristocats)

The youngest son of Duchess and Toulouse and Marie’s brother, Berlioz is a grey-furred kitten, usually very quiet but always ready for mischief. He is a talented piano player and can be often seen playing it. He has blue eyes, is pretty small and wears a small red ribbon around his neck.

Bernard (The Rescuers)

Bernard is a young mouse who works as a janitor for Rescue Aid Society, but after helping Miss Bianca on their first mission he got awarded the title of Society’s American ambassador. He is a friendly mouse, sometimes superstitious, nervous and cautious and begins to stutter when he is near Bianca,  his love interest.

Bernie Kropp (The Incredibles)

Bernie is Dash Parr’s teacher and often the victim of his numerous pranks. He is constantly trying to make Dash get punished for the things he does in class and after finding out that Dash might have magic powers, he is dismissed for being too paranoid when he tries to prove it.

Bianca (The Rescuers)

Bianca is one of the main protagonists in this cartoon, a cute grey mouse pretty concerned about her looks. She can often be seen putting on perfume and beauty powder. She is beautiful and elegant and very friendly, kind and unshallow, despite her slight obsession with her appearance. She is also very adventurous and daring and isn’t afraid to risk her life, especially for the ones she cares for.

Big Daddy (The Princess and the Frog)

Eli “Big Daddy” La Bouff is the wealthiest and most powerful man in New Orleans. He is a single parent to his daughter Charlotte and a beloved individual in this beautiful town. Big Daddy is very friendly and loving, never taking advantage of his power and money. He is also very generous with his wealth and doesn’t mind giving money to his daughter for her lavish dresses and expensive gifts.

Big Mama (The Fox and the Hound)

Big Mama is a big owl who lives close to Widow Tweed’s home and is friends with many forest animals. She is an intelligent animal, always friendly and ready to help her friends, especially ones in need. She is a motherly character to many of them, taking care of the business such as Tod’s adoption by Widow Tweed.

Bill Sykes (Oliver and Company)

Based on the character Bill Sikes from Dickens’ Oliver Twist, Sykes is the main antagonist in this cartoon. He is a loan shark whose operations take place in a warehouse by the docks. He is one of Disney’s most notorious and evil villains, shown mostly in the shadows. He is brutal, sarcastic, mean, cunning, charming and ruthless and his physical appearance goes well with his unlikeable personality.

Billie (Meet the Robinsons)

Billie is an energetic and eccentric woman who cares deeply for her family, just like the rest of the Robinsons. She is married to Joe Robinson and spends her days controlling her full-sized model trains. She has brown hair, is very elegant and is always wearing nice dresses.

Billy Bones (Treasure Planet)

Billy is an alien space pirate pilot who takes the form of a humanoid salamander and dies at the beginning of the movie but announces the plot of the movie with its final actions.

Bing Bong (Inside Out)

He is Riley Anderson’s imaginary friend who lives in her head and was created when she was around three years old.  As she grew up, she slowly started forgetting him and all their adventures, leaving him a bit sad and lonely.

Bloat (Finding Nemo)

Bloat is a porcupine putterfish and the master of Ceremonies. He has many secret skills, such as being an expert on extreme fish and his expanding body can be very useful in an emergency.

He is usually pretty cool, but when he loses it, his body blows up into a big, spiky ball.

Blue Fairy (Pinocchio)

The Blue Fairy is a magical being who fulfils Geppetto’s wish and turns his wooden doll Pinocchio into a real boy. She helps Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket throughout their adventures. She is calm, wise, always smiling and someone you can always count on.

Bob Parr (The Incredibles)

Also known as Mr Incredible, Bob Parr is the main protagonist of The Incredibles franchise. He is a classical hero, strong and brave, friendly and pleasant and a real father figure. But he is not always as tough as he might seem, especially when he starts worrying about the world he lives in.

Bogo (Zootopia)

Chief Bogo is a male Cape buffalo and the Chief of the Police in Zootopia. He is muscular, with a top-heavy body, strong, intelligent and authoritative. He has dark grey fur, and brown eyes and occasionally wears glasses.

Bolt (Bolt)

Bolt is a white German shepherd and a star of a live-action superhero series who needs to adapt to the real world when he gets spirited away from his owner Penny. Bolt is lively and impulsive, brave and never afraid of performing the most incredible stunts, even in the real world.  

Bomb Voyage (The Incredibles)

Bomb Voyage is a minor antagonist in the Incredibles, a bank robber who uses bombs and other explosives for his crimes. He is tall and slim, with a long face and a particularly long chin, covered by face paint. He is completely crazy, evil and sarcastic, mocking Incrediboy for trying to intervene on his crimes.

Bonnie (Zootopia)

Bonnie is Judy Hopps’ mother, a cute rabbit, a bit taller than her daughter, with grey fur, and purple eyes, and dressed in a sleeveless pink dress. She is a proud and caring mother, happy for seeing her daughter achieving more than is expected from their species.

Boo (Monsters Inc.)

Boo is a young girl who is not scared of the monsters and has no problems going from one world to the other, occasionally venturing through her closet to enter the monsters’ world. She is small, and slender, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She is curious and naive, and completely adorable, especially when she starts speaking her gibberish language. 

Bo Peep (Toy Story)

Bo is a porcelain shepherdess figurine and Sheriff Woody’s girlfriend. She is tall, with blonde hair and light vinyl skin. She is very romantic and has strong feelings for Woody, often showing them to him, and being daring with her actions and words.

Boun (Raya and the Last Dragon)

Boun is a 10-year-old boy who grew up in the desert of Kumandra’s Tail Land. He is the owner of a boat restaurant and a street entrepreneur. He is a hyperactive and fast talking, always in search of new customers. He is very skilled and knowledgeable for his age, enjoys cooking and loves money.

Bruce (Finding Nemo)

Bruce is a great white shark and the leader of the Fish-Friendly Sharks supporting group. He is big and strong, but despite his appearance, he is incredibly kind and gentle. He is laid back, joyful and loves to joke. Every now and then his primal instincts come to the surface and we witness his true personality, the one he is trying to get rid of.

Bruno (Cinderella)

Bruno is a big slender bloodhound with floppy ears, a black nose and red-brown fur. He is very friendly and loyal and adores Cinderella. He can’t stand Lucifer, the obnoxious Lady Tremaine’s cat whom she finally scares at the end of the cartoon, getting his revenge for all his mischiefs.

Bruno Madrigal (Encanto)

Bruno is one of the main protagonists in Encanto, Alma and Perdo’s only son with the gift of seeing into the future. He is a bit odd, is fascinated by rats and often talks about his doomsaying visions which estranged him from the family.

But he is a really nice person, caring, passionate, with strong love and loyalty towards his family.

Brutus (The Rescuers)

Brutus is one of two of Madame Medusa’s pet crocodiles, ferocious, mean and harmful creature. He is loyal only to his owner, never leaving her side. He can understand every word he hears and obviously has some reasons for not liking anyone besides his master.

Bubbles (Finding Nemo)

Bubbles is a bright yellow tang who likes to chase bubbles. He was bought by the dentist and put in his fish tank. He has a treasure chest at the bottom of the tank and doesn’t want anyone to mess with his bubbles. 

Buddy Pine (The Incredibles)

Buddy Pine is commonly known as Syndrome and is the main antagonist in The Incredibles. He is a mad scientist, some kind of a psychopath who is destined to make himself a hero. He is very intelligent and sceptical, convinced that people must be evil to gain respect. 

Bulda (Frozen)

Bulda is a female troll and Cliff’s wife with whom she adopted Kristoff and his reindeer Sven. She is open-minded, highly spiritual and outgoing. She has a maternal side, and is very loving and caring and shows great optimism, especially in critical situations.

Butch (The Good Dinosaur)

Butch is Arlos’ wise mentor and the father of two young T-Rexes, Nash and Ramsey. He is the complete opposite of the usual portrayals of T-Rexes in movies and cartoons, being a loyal friend and a valuable ally.

Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story)

Buzz is a spaceman action figure, Woody’s best friend and Jessie’s boyfriend. He was created when astronauts were popular among children and therefore become Andy’s favourite toy.

He can be seen dealing with many emotions throughout the cartoon, such as anger, pride and even depression. But he is also a very brave individual, always there for his friends.
