Enola Holmes 2: Henry Cavill Finished Filming
Henry Cavill, one of the most popular actors nowadays, has confirmed that he finished filming of Enola Holmes 2 – the sequel to the popular 2020 Netflix movie in which Millie Bobby Brown played the titular character.
The original Enola Holmes movie, based on the book series The Enola Holmes Mysteries by Nancy Springer, was released on Netflix in September 2020. Millie Bobby Brown played the titular character, while The Witcher and Man of Steel star Henry Cavill portrayed Enola’s brother, the famous Sherlock Holmes. Although he played a supporting character, the popularity of actors and their characters earned the movie a strong viewership. The sequel was officially announced last May, and Cavill just finished filming his part, as he revealed on his Instagram page.
Cavill posted the video in which he reveals he just completed his last day of filming the sequel:
We will soon watch Henry Cavill again in the role of Geralt of Rivia in the second season of The Witcher. The third season was already ordered by Netflix and the filming is set to begin next year. Cavill is also set to star in Matthew Vaughn’s Argylle. Also, recent reports are saying that he’s could be one of the strong candidates for the next James Bond, and DC fans are still hoping they will eventually see him wearing a red cape again.
