Do You Need To Watch Haikyuu In Order?

In my opinion, you have to watch Haikyuu in order to get a better understanding of the show, but technically, you don’t have to watch the movies and the OVAs to follow the storyline. OVAs describe what happened in the seasons in detail to help you understand the story in-depth. But you can watch the four seasons only to get the general storyline.

If you are obsessed with the show and want to know all the information about Haikyuu, you can watch the OVAs and movies to your heart’s content. In a way, I think it’s crucial to watch OVAs to get intrinsic information about the story.

As it happens, the movies are just a recap of the previous seasons. If you are a true fan of Haikyuu!! Then go ahead and watch them.
