Shrek is a DreamWorks computer-animated film that came out in 2001. After the smash hit the first movie, three more followed: Shrek 2 in 2004, Shrek the Third in 2007, and Shrek Forever After in 2010. Some will argue Shrek 2 is even better than the original, but nonetheless, all Shrek movies are iconic and feature some unforgettable characters. There are Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, and an array of original characters and those inspired by classic fairy tales. You probably know a lot about each of them, but do you know how tall Shrek characters are? No worries, we did the research and even included a table for easy viewing.

Three Blind Mice (1 ft or 2,54 cm)
Three Blind Mice are 3 identical mouse brothers who can’t see. Their character is based on an old nursery rhyme of the same name. They appear in every Shrek movie.
Gingerbread Man (1 ft 1 in or 33,02 cm)
The Gingerbread Man or Gingy is a cookie made by The Muffin Man. He appears in every Shrek movie. We first meet him when Lord Farquaad is torturing him by ripping his legs off trying to get the whereabouts of other fairytale creatures.
Dronkeys (2 ft 5 in or 73,66 cm)
The Dronkeys are the six children of Donkey and Dragon, they are sometimes called little mutant babies. There are introduced in Shrek 2. Their names are Debbie, Coco, Bananas, Peanut, Parfait and Éclair.
Ogre Triplets (2 ft 5 in or 73,66 cm)
Fergus, Farkle and Felicia are Fiona and Shrek’s children. Their first appearance is in Shrek the Third. They are best friends with the Dronkeys.
Puss in Boots (3 ft or 91,44 cm)
Puss in Boots or just Puss is Shrek’s second side kick. He is loosely based on the fairytale character of the same name, but he is also a parody of Zorro. He got his two spin off films Puss in Boots and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
Pinocchio (4 ft 6 in or 137,16 cm)
Pinocchio is a wooden puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy. His nose grows when he lies, and in Shrek 2 he becomes a boy for less than 5 minutes. He is also in every Shrek movie.
Lord Farquaad (4 ft 6 in or 1,38 m)
Lord Farquaad is the ruler of Duloc. He is known for his small stature and big ego. He commissions Shrek to rescue Fiona for him, so he can marry her and become a king.
Rumpelstiltskin (4 ft 7 in or 1,40 m)
Rumpelstiltskin or Rumple the main antagonist of the whole Shrek franchise. He is a dwarf born in the land of Far Far Away. He has no magical powers, but he can offer someone a magical contract, that always has a “catch”.
Three Little Pigs (4 ft 8 in or 1,42 m)
The Three Little Pigs are brothers who speak with a German accent. They are inspired by a fairy tale of the same name, but in Shrek they have a good relationship with the Wolf.
Donkey (5 ft or 1,52 m)
Donkey is Shrek’s side kick and best friend alongside Puss in Boots. He is a talkative, euphoric donkey who helps Shrek rescue Fiona. On that adventure he meets his wife, the Dragon with who he has six Dronkeys.
Snow White (5 ft 8 in or 1,73 m)
Snow White is one of Fiona’s best friends from the land of Far Far Away. Her singing can bewitch animals and she can control them. She is vain, proud, and good in hand-to-hand combat.
King Harold (5 ft 9 in or 1,75 m)
King Harold was Fiona’s father and the former king of the land of Far Far Away. He first appeared in Shrek 2, where he ended up sacrificing his human form for Fiona’s happiness. He used to be a frog. His death sets off evens of Shrek The Third.
Princess Fiona (5 ft 10 in or 1,78 m) as Ogress (6 ft 4 in or 1,93 m)
Princess Fiona is Shrek’s wife and the daughter of Queen Lilian and King Harold. She appears in all movies, and in Shrek Forever After we meet an alternative version of her who never met Shrek. She is the mother of the Ogre Triplets.
Sleeping Beauty (5 ft 11 in or 1,80 m)
Sleeping Beauty is Fiona’s friend. She always falls asleep, and in the movies, they reference that she has Narcolepsy, a sleeping disorder she had since childhood.
Queen Lillian (5 ft 11 in or 1,80 m)
Queen Lilian is the Queen of Far Far Away, King Harold’s wife and Fiona’s mother. She is a badass, in Shrek The Third she broke the prison wall with her head.
King Arthur (6 ft 1 in or 1,85 m)
King Arthur Pendragon is the current ruler of Far Far Away. He first appears in Shrek The Third, when Shrek finds him to force him to take up the throne after King Harold dies.
Rapunzel (6 ft 3 in or 1,91 m)
Rapunzel is the hidden antagonist in Shrek The Third. She appears to be Fiona’s friend, but she is actually plotting against her with Prince Charming.
Prince Charming (6 ft 4 in or 1,93 m)
Prince Charming is the son of the Fairy Godmother and one of the main antagonist in the Shrek franchise. In the first Shrek he was supposed to rescue Fiona, but Shrek goes there first and since then he is trying to steal away Fiona unsuccessfully.
The Big Bad Wolf (6 ft 6 in or 1,98 m)
The Big Bad Wolf or Wolfie is a character from Shrek based on the wolf from the Red Riding Hood story. He appears in all Shrek movies, and famously he was found sleeping at the tower by Prince Charming instead Fiona.
Shrek (7 ft or 2,13 m)
Shrek is an Ogre who lives in the Swamp. He is the main character in the Shrek franchise. The story begins with rescuing Fiona from the tower and the rest is history. He gets into all kinds of adventures with Donkey and Puss in Boots, including becoming a human to make Fiona happy.
Witches (7 ft or 2,13 m)
Witches are a race in the Shrek franchise. They have green skin and fly on brooms. They are based on The Wicked Witch of the West from the Oz books. In Shrek The Third they help Prince Charming and in Shrek Forever After they are Rumpelstiltskin’s soldiers.
Brogan (8 ft 4 in or 2,54 m)
Brogan is an ogre and one of the leaders of the Ogre resistance against Rumpelstiltskin in Shrek Forever After.
Mongo (75 ft or 22,86 m)
Mongo was a giant gingerbread man made by the Muffin Man. He helps Shrek break in the castle in Shrek 2, but gets killed by hot milk.
Dragon (100ft or 30,48 m)
Dragon is a red dragon in the Shrek franchise. It is a female dragon that guards Fiona in her tower in the first movie. Later, she falls in love with Donkey and they have six Dronkeys together.
