Shrek

Shrek s an American media franchise created by William Steig in 1990 based on a picture book titled Shrek! So far the franchise consists of 4 movies, two television specials, and a spin-off movie. Shrek has been featured in various other media as well and the franchise as a whole is one of the highest-grossing of all time. The story of Shrek follows a good-natured ogre on a quest to rescue a princess, during the original quest he met numerous characters that followed him on his subsequent adventures.
