So, how do you unlock the Lost Valley Domain in Genshin Impact?

To unlock the Lost Valley Domain in Genshin Impact, what you need to do is to get to the lower-left corner of Liyue on the surface of The Chasm. You also need a Geo character that can create a construct in your team. Solve the puzzle in the area once you get there using your Geo character.

It might be a little tough for some people to understand how to get to the Lost Valley Domain, and that’s why we are here to look at some of the things that you should be doing to get to this area in the game. Of course, this article includes a more extensive set of instructions that will allow you to solve the puzzle so that you can enter the Lost Valley Domain in Genshin Impact.

The Lost Valley Domain Location

One of the newest and most intriguing places in Genshin Impact is the Lost Valley Domain, and the reason why this place is intriguing is that it isn’t the type of place that you can just walk to and expect to open up to you when you get it. In that regard, it’s not the same as some of the other locations in the game because of the fact that there has to be something done first before you can gain access to this area.

But before we discuss how you can unlock and gain access to the Lost Valley Domain in Genshin Impact, it is important that we first discuss where its location is because location is everything when it comes to this game. After all, you won’t be able to get there if you don’t know where to find it.

So, in that regard, you can find the Lost Valley Domain just in the lower-left corner of Liyue, which is found at The Chasm. You can see the area marked on the map below.

It’s a pretty straightforward way to get there, but the challenge comes when you actually need to unlock the Lost Valley Domain. As such, you need to be able to do a few things first before you should go to this location.

How To Get To The Lost Valley Domain?

Even if you do know where the Lost Valley Domain is on the map, it is important for you to note that you just can’t drop on that area to get there. That’s because you have to start a long way from that location. The reason is that a good part of the path to the Lost Valley Domain is hidden under rocks.

As such, it is best for you to start heading to the location far away somewhere in The Chasm and then make your way to that area by using paths that may be hidden under rocks. It shouldn’t be too hard to get there.

How To Unlock The Lost Valley Domain?

As mentioned, you shouldn’t go to the Lost Valley Domain location just yet because you still need to do some things before you can actually access it. Going to the location would just be futile because you won’t even be able to access the Lost Valley Domain.

That said, the first thing you need to do is to add a Geo character that has the capability to create constructs. You will understand the reason why this is very important when we discuss how you can unlock and enter the Lost Valley Domain in Genshin Impact.

It is best to use Ningguang, Geo Traveler, or Zhongli, whichever you may have. That’s because you need to use their elemental skill to be able to solve the puzzle that will allow you to enter the Lost Valley Domain.

Once you already have a Geo character that you can use to solve the puzzle, approach the area marked on the map, and then you will notice that Paimon will comment on a Geo rock that is shining. You also have to know that The Chasm has a lot of different areas and puzzles that can be accessed by breaking Geo energy constructs and by destroying a few rocks using your weapons so that you can access certain locations. The same is more or less true if you want to get to the Lost Valley Domain.

You’ll know if you are in front of the door to the Lost Valley Domain if you notice a door with an orange elemental symbol on its surface. This should be in the area that is marked on the map. You will also notice that there will be two Hilichurls around a chest in that area. You have to defeat them so that you can get what’s inside the chest and for you to access the platform that you need to use to solve the puzzle.

Try standing up on the platform, and you will notice that it will light up when you stand on it. But the problem here is that it stops lighting up when you get off it. That means that it reacts if there is something on top of it, and the good news is that it doesn’t have to be a character standing on top of the platform. This is where your Geo character comes in.

The thing is that you need to hit the glowing rock that Paimon mentioned while the platform is lit. If you hit the rock while the platform isn’t lit, you won’t be able to open the door that leads to the Lost Valley Domain. This is why it is important that you need to have a team member that can create Geo constructs.

From there, what you need to do to solve the puzzle that will open the door to the Lost Valley Domain is for you to stand right in front of the platform that lights up. Do not stand on top of it. From there, use a Geo construct that should drop right onto the platform so that the platform will stay activated long enough for you to open the door.

You will notice that there will be air rings that will appear behind where you are standing. The air rings should lead back to the giant stone that Paimon was talking about. On top of the stone should be a chest.

Follow the air path that leads to the stone so that you’ll be able to claim the treasure. From there, attack the stone so that you’ll be able to allow it to resonate. This will cause a Geo energy wave that will force the seal on the door to open so that you will now be able to access the Lost Valley Domain. You’ll notice the entrance to that area because of the stone tablet just in front of it.

The Lost Valley Rewards

You may be wondering why you may want to enter the Lost Valley Domain in Genshin Impact. Well, for starters, there are 5-star artifact sets that you can find in this area. Specifically, you’ll be able to find Echoes of an Offering and Vermillion Hereafter.

Nevertheless, as of this moment, there aren’t any real answers regarding what you can do with these sets because different players are still experimenting with what they can do. Right now, they are better off for helping specific characters instead of actually becoming useful enough for general use, but that shouldn’t turn you off from them.

The sets are quite useful for a character like Xiao because of how the Vermillion Hereafter set could be quite useful for him whenever he uses his Elemental Burst. But, in terms of general use, there aren’t a lot of characters that can actually benefit from the sets in the long term.

Of course, there will also be monsters in the Lost Valley Domain. Specifically, the ruin monsters that you can find here will take more damage whenever you use elemental skills on them. There is even a Ruin Guard at the top level of this area, and it is actually very tough to kill.

But, all that said, the Lost Valley Domain isn’t a very great place to be in if you are looking for some good items or if you are trying to farm. The monsters aren’t the best for farming, and while the items you can find in this area can be useful, they aren’t for general purposes. Still, fans of the game should try to get to this area for the sake of doing so, especially if they want to be able to proudly say that they have beaten the Ruin Guard.
