The upcoming ‘Fantastic Four’ movie is the talk of the town in the MCU. It’s set to bring Marvel’s beloved family to the big screen again, giving the old series of movies a fresh start. Fans have been waiting for this for a long time, and just recently we got the official cast announcement.

Pedro Pascal is taking on the role of Reed Richards, even though many fans wanted John Krasinski instead. Vanessa Kirby will be Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn was cast as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will play Ben Grimm.

Recently, news broke that Julia Garner is set to play Shalla-Bal, a female adaptation of Silver Surfer, stirring mixed reactions among fans. Some expressed discomfort and criticism on social media, even threatening to boycott the upcoming movie. This reaction isn’t surprising given recent box office performances like ‘The Marvels’ and ‘Madame Web.’

However, Joseph Quinn is thrilled about his part in the film. He recently engaged with fans, emphasizing that joining the ‘Fantastic Four’ cast was an easy decision for him.

I’m really excited! I still can’t believe it, it’s crazy. We have a great group. When I spoke to Matt, the director, he had a brilliant vision for this, and the group we have, it was an easy decision. I definitely wanted to be a part of it.

Quinn also made a playful remark, saying he plans to fully commit to his role by jokingly setting himself on fire every day.

Details about the movie’s plot are scarce, but speculation is rife. According to insiders, the story unfolds in a past era within an alternate reality. The Fantastic Four are already endowed with their powers, enjoying fame as established superheroes. However, their reality faces potential destruction, possibly by the looming presence of Galactus, a rumored character in the film. In response, they may seek refuge in another dimension, known as 616. Recently, there was speculation circulating that Sue Storm might be expecting a child, Franklin Richards, who could be born in space.

‘Fantastic Four’ is set to hit theaters on July 25, 2025. Share your thoughts in the comments section!
