With the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen finally underway, we’ve had the chance to see the beginning of Gojo’s Past Arc, which took us back to 2006, when Gojo and Geto were still students. Now, this short arc is going to tell an interesting story, but it has also introduced us to a series of interesting secondary characters, among which were the Q assassins Kokun and Bayer. The two of them were sent to kill Riko, the current Star Plasma Vessel, but failed as they were stopped by Suguru Geto and Satoru Gojo, respectively. They were defeated, but did the two students kill them or not? Keep reading to find out what happened to Kokun and Bayer in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Kokun and Bayer are not dead. That much has been confirmed. And while neither Suguru Geto nor Satoru Gojo are afraid to kill their opponents if necessary, there was no need to do anything to Kokun and Bayer as the two of them were significantly weaker, and they did not put up much resistance. Geto easily defeated Kokun with his curses, while Gojo beat up Bayer quickly. It is assumed that the two of them were apprehended after this (as Q was disbanded), but it is not known what happened to them later.

The rest of this article will focus on the fates of Kokun and Bayer in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. Kokun and Bayer were introduced as new secondary villains in the second season of the series, and while they did not have a long-lasting impact, people still want to know what happened to them, which is what inspired this article. Their fates interests all fans, so we will reveal what happened to them in this article. This article will contain some spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, so be careful how you approach it.

Kokun and Bayer were defeated quickly and easily, but they were not killed by them

As you probably know by now, the principal antagonist of the first part of Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen is going to be Toji Fushiguro, who will, despite his lack of jujutsu powers, be a very formidable and dangerous foe, even for the likes of Satoru Gojo, who is thought to be the most powerful character in the series.

But, aside from Toji, fans will also know that some other minor villains have or will appear in the season, and among them is the terrorist organization known as Q. Now, Q has already stopped being a threat as of Episode 2, but its two primary members – Kokun and Bayer – are of interest to fans and we are going to quickly sum up what happened to them, after which we are going to tell you what happened to them.

While Bayer was the group’s most powerful member, Kokun appeared to be its second-in-command. The first one we saw in the series was Kokun, though. Namely, due to ideological differences, Q specifically wished to prevent Master Tengen from resetting their cursed technique because they knew that this would stop Tengen from becoming an enemy of humanity, which is something that they actually wanted to happen, as they actually desired the replacement of the existing jujutsu society’s system with a new one.

After an explosion took place near the top of the building where Riko was, Kokun was the first to arrive to the location. Kokun approached the girl, and without even flinching, he threw her out of the window, hoping the fall would kill her; he seemingly did not care that she was just a 14-year-old girl. But Riko was actually saved by Suguru Geto, who also went to engage Kokun.

Kokun was unprepared for what would happen, despite his trust in his skills and that Geto was still a student. Geto, of course, refused to give him the girl when he requested her. Before Kokun could react, one of Geto’s many curses really grabbed the student, and despite Geto’s instructions to release him, Kokun refused.

At the same time, the seemingly more powerful Bayer attacked Gojo down below, and while Gojo, knowing that he was the stronger one, asked Bayer to surrender, the Q member did not want to do that, and the two of them engaged in a fight. Of course, being as powerful as he is, Gojo took care of Bayer with ease and even made a picture of his defeated opponent, which he sent to Geto on his cell phone.

So, what happened next? As Kokun was trapped by one of Geto’s curses, he pleaded for Geto to release him, but Geto simply pretended not to hear him, which was a lie. At one point, Kokun threatened Geto with Bayer, claiming that Bayer would defeat Gojo and then come to save him, implying that Geto would be better off if he released him, but Geto then showed him the photo Gojo sent him, with him smiling in front of Bayer, whom he had beaten up. At that point, Kokun realized that their battle was over.

And while we know that Q was later disbanded, we actually don’t have too many details on Kokun’s and Bayer’s fates. Namely, we know for sure that Geto and Gojo did not kill them (Kokun was trapped, while Bayer was simply knocked out), and it is assumed that they have been apprehended and handed over to the authorities after the clash. Where did they end up?

We, sadly, don’t know. What happened to them later? We don’t know that either. The fact is that the fates of Kokun and Bayer are a mystery, but as they stopped being relevant to the plot, we actually understand how and why that happened to them. We know that they survived, but how they were punished for their crimes remains unknown, although we assume that both of them are alive somewhere behind bars.
